8:12am I just woke up. I just got out of the bathroom taking a shit. I'm thinking I'm going to walk downtown again. I'm not sure what route I'll take because I'm all paranoid that the wrong people might recognize me. I'm thinking I might take the power line trail all the way to Grissom and get hooked up at Elizabeth's again. Yeah, that's what I'll do. I'm going to see if there's any breakfast to eat first.
Oh yeah, I gotta clean up. I have to do at least the dishes. I haven't been cleaning as much lately. Yesterday I spent all day on the computer.
10:27am Didn't I say I was going to take off walking again? I stayed at home on the computer. I did progress a bit on the computer. Like I found an installation program I might use.
10:53am I am leaving late. At first I said screw it, I'm not going to walk downtown. I changed my mind again though. I am going to walk downtown today. Fourth time in a row. Well, not in a row. Like every other day. I walk one day and rest the next on the computer. I really like the power line trail.
11:04am I walked the power line trail to the tennis courts and found me a tennis ball. Perfect. I'm going to need one.
Just passing Guilbeau. I changed my tennis ball out in front of the dumpster at the Guilbeau Station Animal Hospital.
I walked almost to Low Bid Lane again and I got cock-blocked. They fixed the fence that I could walk over because it used to be knocked down.
11:53am I ended up on Low Bid Lane again. Since they fixed that fence I have to cut through the construction yard.
11:55am I'm back on the power line trail. On Buck Heath's property.
12:07am I ended up in Timberhill, the neighborhood.
12:26am I went over to Yolie's Tacos, right next to Elizabeth's on Timberhill and Grissom. Yolie's giving me some gasoline for my stomach. I appreciate it, Yolie.
12:30am Haha, the guy at Yolie's told me, when I was giving them credit, "I want you to do me a favor. I don't want you to mention our name." I told him, "Aww, come on. You are proving me right." He got all flustered and said, "Somebody has to pay for it!" I told him, "I am just proving a point." He all told me, "Well, you're system doesn't work in today's society." I held up my bag of tacos he just prepared for me and said, "Umm, my system just worked right in front of your face."
Cool, there's a tamale place right here I can try another time. Oh yeah, at Yolie's the Mexican dude who was there, at first I told him my line in Spanish. He was all, "Excuse me?" I told him in English and he goes to the back and asks Yolie, "Do we have a taco we can donate?" She comes over and looks at me and nods her head yes. He made me two tacos. He was quick to ask me, "How do you get around? How do you make a living?" I told him as much as he would let me get out. He all said, "Your system doesn't work!" Hell, it worked right this instant right in front of his face.
He was all, "I don't mind being generous . . ." I should have told him, "You weren't generous, Yolie was. Remember, you had to ask her for permission."
12:51pm I came in these woods right here and sat down and ate a taco. I'm going to save the other one.. I'm thinking about climbing this little hill. I'll be up by the Ingram Park and Ride, I think.
12:57pm Cool, I found me a homeless camp.
I had a good little presentation with this homeless pair. A guy and a girl. I told them my story and they gave me a beer. I'm going to walk to Ingram and I might catch the bus downtown and buy a joint. I've got two dollars my mom gave me.
The guy's name was Bear. I don't remember what the lady's name was.
1:50pm I got on the 90 bus and asked the driver, "Can I get a courtesy ride downtown?" He tells me, "You know you're famous for that, don't you?" I told him, "Of course I do, I am still at it." He told me no. I said, "That's Okay, I was just testing you. Your greedy ass failed."
2:00pm Rick, driving the 610 hooked me up with a transfer. Rick Adames.
3:27pm I didn't tell you, I changed my mind about catching a bus. I'm walking down Ingram. Even though I've got a transfer.
3:42pm I changed my mind yet again. I was walking down Ingram by Chesterhill and Mr. Salazar stopped and picked me up. I wasn't even at a bus stop. I appreciate it, brother. I'm going to go downtown and get some weed.
4:17pm I'm downtown. Travis Park.
No weed in the park. I'm going to go down to the Sam's Shelter.
I was walking the wrong way on Commerce and I have to double back all the way back to Samm's.
Badaboom badabing, went to Samm's and got some weed. Two dollars worth. Not that much.
4:23pm I ran into Keisha. She said, "You don't remember me?" I told her, "I talk to different people every day." She said I talked to her in the park about a year ago.
4:32pm The #3 guy said, "Oh, we can't do that. We've got supervisors."
4:44pm Monica gave me a cigarette here at Travis Park. I appreciate it, sister.
5:15pm Jennifer hooked me up with a cigarette here at Travis Park. She listened to my story. I appreciate it, sister.
5:32pm What a surprise. I jumped on the 92 going back to Medical Center. When I got on the bus the driver was all snooty bitching because my transfer was ten minutes overdue. Right now, when I got off the bus at the hospital she told me, "Are you going to catch another bus here?" I told her, "Yeah, the 610." She hooked me up with a transfer and said, "Here, this one expires in one hour." Awesome, she hooked me up. At first she seemed mean.
6:33pm I ran into Eric, who I've known for a while. He still works at West. I had never told Eric my story. I asked him if he would listen and he said no.
7:07pm Chris hooked me up with a cigarette at the hospital. I appreciate it, brother.
7:21pm I'm on the 610 going home.
7:48pm I just got off the 610 by the Citgo.
8:00pm I am home. My mom's not home. The car is in the driveway, though. I'm hungry.
