                   Recapped by Carol: "My birthday. Woke up and me, Travis, Bear and Victor smoked. Leonard came over then Andrew and Mark Watson. I smoked everybody out. We had a lot of errands to run so we took off early. We went to Catholic Charities for lunch and then to the library and then Project Understanding to see if they had any glasses for Victor. He goes back on the first. I was calling people to try and get help with rent. It was due today. I got this one guy from St. Vincent de Paul to pay for it for me and he called it in. I wasn't aware he had paid for it. So we all went back to River Haven for the weekly meeting at four. We got voted out although half the camp wasn't even there to vote. We all left in anger. I found out later that my rent was indeed paid, so River Haven screwed up. They all came over to tell us how sorry they were. They are all so two-faced. It's pathetic. We slept in the harbor at Ventura."

     1:23pm  Still Carol: "Trip to Santa Cruz Island. Me, Vic and Travis. Boat ride with dolphins, whales. Great hike on Island. Had lunch. More whales on way back. Awesome time.
