10:15am I wish I would've hit record a long time ago, but please rewind as much as you can remember, Tita.
Tita: Well, we were talking about where Victor's work was last night. What he did was added a bunch of stuff to his blog. It has been a process of unraveling how his patterns have formed. Because I am outside of Victor and have observed him and seen him and he is my interest, because I LOVE him as, #1, as my partner I want him to be stronger and better and more evolved.
6:30pm Woohoo! We have already been home for like two hours but today I went out and played the undercover bum role like I do sometimes at the end of the month. Just like I used to in Ventura in 2007. WORLD PEACE THROUGH MARIJUANA. Since it's the end of the month and I was out of inspiring-dabs to smoke, I felt I'd go out and test the waters.
Recently when I have had the urge to go spread my blog and get hooked up and smoked out I couldn't locate the durable sign I had made in March and even used throughout my business trip to Texas last September. I might've misplaced it, so I diligently made another one.
Since I wasn't stoned and not thinking right I made the mistake while I was writing it out with a marker to write UP after smoke a brother, instead of OUT. I was bummed thinking I would have to start over, but then My-Tita gave me the genius suggestion, with a random square to simply "patch" my mistake. It worked perfectly.
When we first drove to my signature corner we saw all these homeless people hanging out there. Very dismayed, we kept on. Tita had suggested as we left the house going to the mall if our corner was compromised. Since it is Sunday nowhere else is going to have the pileup at the traffic light any better than that corner, so after several blocks towards the mall I decided to u-turned it and drove back to the Jack In The Box on the corner, by the light. I thought I might have to wait my turn but nobody was flying a sign or anything. Tita greeted a man who was sitting very close to the corner, ensuring he knew we weren't trying to cramp his style. He seemed to not care and was expressionless. I guess Jack in the Box is cool with the homebums. It is one of their dens and they have always congregated there.
I grabbed my sign and Altoids tin of little blog papers and I went to try. The whole time with a big grin on my face. Tita sat down on a rock and played on her phone. She even took a short vid of my offering my blog to a girl in her car.
I am also pleased to report that all my little blog tapes are still all over that corner. I was sure to add even more.
OMGosh! Within like 15 minutes the blessings started. I was marching down playfully flipping my sign around and getting so many smiles. I didn't notice this girl trying to give me something, but Tita who was sitting down got my attention and directed me to the girl. This girl up and gave me like a whole half ounce of diggity dank ass weed! Like $50 worth! Two kinds, even some nice popcorn nuggets too, Here, look. I walked over to Tita and handed the weed to her and pulled out my dugout and told her to load me up a hit, and I went back to the light.
Then, less than five minutes later this pretty Mexican girl rolls down her window and asks me, "Do you want a Starbucks gift card?" I said sure and quickly handed her my blog. "I'm a journalist. I have been all over the country. It's not religious, I promise."
When I gave it to Tita I noticed it said $20. Tita hoped there would be at least enough for two coffees left on it. I told her to call the number and check the balance, and lo and behold all $20 were still on it! Woohoo! Free coffee! On the way home we stopped at Gross-Out for bread, and I remembered Starbucks, because there was one in the parking lot. I ordered a Venti Cafe Latte(it was weak, i forgot to get extra shots). Tita, a tall mocha. When we got to the window the young Hispanic cashier dude asked if we had the Starbucks ap because today was a buy-one-get-one-free if you use the ap. We immediately agreed and downloaded it and scored even more! We got two drinks for $5.60. I was so appreciative I gave the cashier a dollar tip along with a blog paper. I told him to check it after work because it is really distracting. He told me he would definitely do it after work. (see how i am so assumptive?)
In the end I only spent less than half an hour, like fifteen minuets, flying the sign. I got a couple bucks too, $72 worth of stuff total!
Yeehaw! Typing-fuel and wake-up-juice! All in less than fifteen minutes!
Check out our bounty!
We then went to this flea market they were having down the street in a parking lot, but they were breaking down already. I had brought the four or five WPTMJ shirts I have left and I thought maybe I could sell them next time they had it(on the 11th of February). Tita went and asked and the sales permit there is $45. Screw that!
Then I had the brilliant idea that I could just walk around any crowd or mall proudly wearing my shirt and holding a plastic grocery bag with my remaining stock, and just simply walk around and wait for people to compliment my shirt and only offer to sell them to them. I don't need a permit for such a stealthy tactic. I am tempted to go to the flea market next week and doing just that. I'll ask for thirty bucks per shirt.
What a blessed time!
Just when we thought things couldn't get any better
