Point Mugu to Ventura to Santa Barbara and back to Point Mugu, CA

8:26am Today is the day after my birthday. It's not Groundhogs Day anymore. Carol and I are chilling at our badass camp at Thornhill Broome Beach on Highway 1, "the most beautiful highway in the world." Cliffs of Santa Monica, La Joya Canyon, right before Sycamore Cove. Anyway, we're just chilling here. We need to make some money today. I need to get my webpage paid and we have to get money for weed and rent for the campsite, eleven bucks. We need like thirty bucks for what we're aiming for today. Carol is going to try and sell her wares on the Ventura Pier. I'm going to go fly my sign like I always do. I hope the cops don't fuck with me. What am I saying? It'd be showtime, hehe.
11:03am I am walking to Sanjón. Carol and Travis and me. Carol's going to go try and hawk her wares on the pier. I'm going to go fly my sign on Sanjón, even though the cops ran me off last time. I'm going to fly my HOOK A BROTHER UP/SMOKE A BROTHER OUT sign. If the cops show up I'll just tell them, "You just told me not to fly my marijuana sign. I'm not flying that one."
11:09am Coming up on Sanjón. No bum on my corner. No competition. I'm going to set up.

2:08pm We are driving to Santa Barbara. Here's Carol. Carol: "We were in Santa Barbara. We went to go buy some weed. We were at the Vons there because we were hungry. Victor pulls in and I look at this car and tell Victor, "Those kids. I think I know that guy." It turned out to be Mianté. I was like oh my god. It was pretty cool. I hadn't seen him in like three years. He's got a new girlfriend and a baby and they had a bunch of dogs in the back. They gave us a puppy. We have an eight week old puppy now. We don't know what its name is yet. It's in the backseat with Travis chillin'. Mianté and them are going to come back to the campground with us and hang out for the night. So that's really cool. A puppy! We have a puppy!
