Morro Bay to Los Osos to San Luis Obispo and back to Los Osos, CA

Friday February 6, 2009

7:04am  I woke up around ten or fifteen minutes ago underneath the bridge here. It's all pretty. I should take pictures. I'm going to keep walking now.

8:17am  I just walked into Los Osos. I took a picture of the sign. I'm going to sit down and have a smokebreak.

8:27am  I am walking into Los Osos now. This morning after I got an hour or two of sleep before it started raining. I packed up and loaded up. I'm lucky I found that bridge soon afterwards. I'm walking into Los Osos now. I need water.

8:48am  I am walking into Los Osos right now and I saw a PG&E truck on the side of the road. I walked up and asked them if there was a gas station somewhere, that I needed some water. Stu was nice enough to let me get some water out of the back of the truck. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit.

                   Looking back

9:40am  I came to the Ralph's. I got two donuts. An orange twirl and apple fritter. The cool cashier James only charged me for one donut. Nice.

10:02am  Pete came up to me and asked me what I was doing. I told him just hanging out staying out of the rain. He just volunteered me a twenty dollar bill! I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit.

Sweet, just like that I got a twenty dollar bill! Welcome to Los Osos.

                     Awesome affirmation on Page 52.

                    My stuff

12:15pm  I had some big technical difficulties. I had to research some shit on my recorder. I was walking in front of the Ralph's here and I accidentally dropped it and it fell in a puddle and the tape popped out and got wet. I put in a brand new tape, just in case. Anyway, I'm going to eat some stuff I bought and walk into town already. I've got my rain poncho on.

12:35pm  Mark just volunteered me a sandwich. I appreciate it, Mark. Everybody gets credit.

1:17pm  Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. I found the laundromat. I've got my stuff washing and drying. Right now Julie, this lady I met in Downtown San Luis Obispo and heard my story, she invited me to join her and her friends tonight at their house at six, that she would come back to the laundromat to pick me up then. So I might be going back to SLOtonight. I asked her if she could bring me back to Morro Bay and she said sure. I'm not done sowing this town.

3:17pm  I had an awesome presentation with Kristina with a K. She had some beautiful cleavage and she knows it.

Since I am washing all my rainbow stuff in the laundry it's going to be all bright.

3:30pm  I am on my way back to the Ralph's. This town is fuckin' dead. It's tiny. Ah, I had a couple good presentations, especially that one with the girl with the nice chest. Screw this town. I have to get back on the 1 and keep walking it. Oh yeah, Julie. When Julie saw me at the laundromat she yelled, "Are you Victor?"

5:30pm  I just came to the laundromat to read my book and wait for Julie. I was just sitting here with my bag and all these people started giving me money! It's raining and it's cold. This lady might not come. Talk is cheap. Hopefully she can spare some floorspace for world peace. If not I guess I can just walk out to that bridge again.

6:25pm  Julie did indeed come back. Without her word a woman is nothing! She just brought me to Los Tacos Roca. We're going to eat and then hang out with her friends. She said she could take me to wherever I needed to go. I think I'm going to go back to Morro Bay, get back on the 1.

7:11pm  Julie and I just drove to San Luis. I'm back over close to Santa Rosa Street.

8:13pm  We came to this bible house. Julie, the angel who mobilized me is telling me about the story of Apollus. Julie: "Well, I feel that this applies to you. It just burned in my heart when it came to me."

“And a certain Jew named Apollus, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly. And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace: For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ” (Acts 18:24-28).

Julie: "The reason I think this story applies to you is because I believe that you are a prophet, and that you're an evangelist. You have a burning desire to tell the truth to people everywhere you go. You can't help it. It burns in you. I really think that you are like Apollus and we're like Priscilla and Aquila. That you have a message like Apollus. Apollus at that time didn't know the full truth. He knew a lot of it. He knew some important stuff. It says that he only knew the baptism of John, so he began to speak boldly in the synagogue, which is what I think you are doing. You are speaking boldly everywhere you go about this truth that's burning inside of you. It says, "When Priscilla and Aquila heard him they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately. I really feel that that's what we're here to do for you. If you don't accept it it's okay, we're still going to like you. Didn't I tell you that at the laundromat? That my friends weren't going to agree with it, but they would still like you. I feel that we are here to recognize and to honor what's in you..and to add to the rest of the story. To give you the extra information that you need. I believe if you accept this, God is going to send you to the nations of the world."

Victor: "Anything Christians tell me today is nothing that I haven’t heard before. I am going to keep doing it my way."

Julie: "And we’ll still love you and we’ll still like you and we will still want to be your friend."

Next day..
