Black Bear Ranch, CA

7:51pm Guess what? We are all snowed in here at the ranch. If we aren't, we will be soon. It's going to snow straight until next Wednesday. Travis and I are going to go on a little adventure right now. We are going to drive the Subaru down to the place where it needs to be so it won't get snowed in. Then we're going to hike five miles back in the snow to the ranch. Or, crash in the car and hike back in the morning. I don't know what we're going to do, but I'm all layered up and ready to go. I've got my waterproof boots on that I found here at the ranch. I'll tell you guys what happens. I have been getting a lot of my writing done. It's going to be perfect.
9:10pm Dude, how far would you say we got, Travis? He says three quarters of a mile. We were going to follow Bob and Pixie who are getting their big pickup to the safe spot too. It seems they made it all the way through. We were following their tracks, trying to stay in their ruts. We made it like three quarters of a mile and now we are stuck in the ditch on the side of the mountain. Oh man, I was driving at first and I almost made us fall off the cliff! I was inching it, but the car kept sliding towards the cliff-side. When it started feeling really dire I just stopped the car. "I'm getting out." I just jumped out of the car. Travis, Chuckie got in the car and he saved the day, man. He only made it because I was shoveling snow out from underneath the tires, hehe. We were like inching up the hill stopping to shovel snow every five minutes or so. Carol has even made us food. We were planning on camping at the car when we got to the safe spot.
Oh yeah, well, Travis got us definitely away from the the cliff, but now he's got us stuck in the ditch hugging the mountain. I can't open the door. I think you should give it another shot on getting it out, Travis. Just for the hell of it.
9:16pm Haha, remember how I told Travis to give it another shot? He started backing up and rubbing against the side of the mountain trying to straighten out and get in the road again. The car started sliding back against the mountain and all of a sudden in my peripheral vision I see this big black mass move by my head and stop. The car had slid backwards against this tree. It stopped like maybe an inch or less from popping the sideview mirror off. I can't believe how lucky we have been tonight. We almost crashed down the mountain in the car and we almost busted the sideview mirror. Carol would have been so pissed if we wrecked her Subu. Oh yeah, and Travis cleverly rolled a big fat joint for this trip and when we left Carol gave us three more! Travis lost one. Travis wants me to call him Chuckie in my book. So I'll use my trusty InfoRapid Search and Replace program and replace all the Travis instances with Chuckie.
Be sure to look up Pelton Wheels on the internet.
