     8:08am  I don't know if I ever told you when I woke up, but I got plenty of sleep, like eight hours. I am having yet another relaxing morning. The sun is coming up. I ate some burrito, I'm not hungry. I'm walking to Prado. I can't forget to charge my camera battery at Prado today.

                   I thought maybe the Mac store would have the fix to get my pictures off my camera, but their card reader didn't work either.

     9:07am  Leaving late.

     9:42am  I gotta make an update. See, since yesterday the highway patrol pulled over when we were walking to Prado. Yesterday my mom signed my guestbook and told me to call her. She said she got a letter saying I got a ticket for trespassing and was scared they were going to throw me in jail. Hmm, so I have to put some thought into this. Cops run my ID all the time, so that means I'll be going to jail if I don't take care of it.

                   I figured I could walk the Madonna mall and hop across the highway right across from Prado. I ended up walking for a long time only to find there wasn't an opening in the barbwire fence and I had to double all the way back to the field I crashed in. I had a good hike on an empty stomach. I think I'm going to go to the bus stop. I have a bus token. I hope I can get to Prado on the bus before nine thirty, when they stop serving breakfast.

     10:00am  Forget Prado. I just got to Higuera. I'm going to the Mac store.

                   Did I mention that awesome presentation I had in front of the mall at the bus stop? I didn't even get her name or give her my website. Her eyes were locked on me at the bus stop listening. She walked to the stop like ten minutes before the bus came. I laid it all on her and got to continue on the bus. She listened beautifully. I figure I will still go to Prado and hope I can scrounge up some food somehow. I'll see if I can do some typing, see if the computer is free. If not, I'll go to Cal-Poly. I'll hit up the taquerias.

     10:35am  I just got off at the Prado Day Center.

                   I just got off the bus at the transfer center downtown. I'm going to walk to Higuera. Oh yeah, I scored some new shoes today at the day center. They're leather hiking shoes, size thirteens. Since I have a backup pair now I treated my boots with ShoeGoo at the day center and have them attached to my pack with a carabineer. I have to wait until Thursday to wear them again after the treatment dries completely.

     5:52pm  Michael Jackson just hooked me up with a cigarette. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit. Here, check out my website.

     6:29pm  Sean was nice enough to give me a cigarette in front of the bubblegum alley.

                   I came over and I robbed the gumball alley again. I found like one quarter and more dimes and nickels. Oh yeah, then brilliance struck. I littered the gumball walls with havethisbook.coms. Perfect.

                   John gave me a five.

     9:33pm  Andrew was nice enough to give me a dollar on Higuera.

     10:11pm  Jessie is being nice enough to give some leftovers. Mmmm, it's yummy pasta.

                     I ran into some girl and she saw my shirt. She said, "World peace through marijuana? I met the last guy who was doing that a couple months ago." I told her that was me, that I was the chosen, I'm the one. I came back. She asked me if I knew Andrew. I went, "Sure, from the house on Peach Street." She said I could camp in her backyard! That she had a firepit. Kickass! I told her I still wanted to hang on Higuera. She said she would come back eventually. She said she'd smoke me out.

     12:55am  Matthew gave me a couple bucks for the cause. I appreciate it, brother. "My name is Matthew and I am here to help the world out. I saw this guy and he was sitting on the street. I am here to help people out."

     2:00am  Man, I had a blast tonight on Higuera. Man, it was hopping tonight late on Higuera tonight. I was told it was this busy every night. I always go to camp early. I assumed my post wearing my clown wig on Garden and Higuera. In the end I have like ten bucks. I walked to the Circle K and bought some snacks.

                   I just got to camp.
