     9:54am  Carol and I woke up around six thirty. Carol went back to sleep for a while.

     1:25pm  Oh yeah, I've got an update to make. Carol went through all this trouble to make me an appointment with the Social Security Office to apply for SSI. Here in Boulder. I was against the idea to begin with. I don't need help from the government. Well, today is my appointment and I told Carol, "I need to rehearse this shit. I'm going to be lying. I'm going to be telling them all these things that aren't true like that I can't work. I can work, I am working." The thing that put it over the top for me was that we smoked weed right before I got there. I was sitting there at my appointment after I got called. The guy told me he had to ask me some questions. He asked me what my address was and I told him 700 30th. He asked me, "Who do you live with?" I told him my girlfriend. I thought the gig was up after that. I just told him my girlfriend. I didn't tell him Carol Cook. I freaked because I told him I lived with my girlfriend. I thought I was supposed to tell him I lived by myself. Shit, the gig is up. He started asking me how much she makes and shit. I just bailed. I just told him I had go talk to Carol and took off. I wonder how Carol will react to me ditching this appointment. She had already rescheduled it twice.

                   I am ready to leave Babylon again. I cannot believe I got sucked back in. I told Carol, "I've put in all this hard work. I've been walking for four years. I shouldn't have to wait for you to get in shape so you can keep up with me."
