9:56am I just remembered I haven't made an entry today at all. Since I've been with Carol my entries have suffered dramatically. I feel like I am so much less a long-distance walker or a journalist. I am really getting a lot of my proofreading done, though. I am already in 2004, in Socorro. Right now I'm driving Carol to get some money. We're going to go to Boulder Workforce.
12:36pm I walked to 18th street close to the college. It ended up being on the other side of town. Like the 900 block of 18th street. I just walked almost to Pearl Street and I see these kids sitting on the sidewalk. They look up at me and stare at me. I gave them the peace sign.
1:05pm I walked to the Shell station in North Boulder. I have to turn on Elder and walk five more blocks to a different 18th Street, I guess. I'm going to smoke a snipe I found in the ashtray. I ganked me some lemonade out of the fountain.
