This is the continuation of the 4- tape.

Oh, it's really cool that my cousin Leni came to visit, just for my little brother's graduation. She hooked me up with twenty dollars! Just like that. She told me I could buy some cigarettes. She left this morning. Anyway, I've got money. I can buy some soap. My mom doesn't like me using bar-soap in her house because she says it leaves soap-scum. Even though it's me who cleans the bathroom. Right now somebody honked their horn at me. I'm walking down in front of the McDonald's on Guilbeau and Bandera. I just realized since I've got money I can go buy me some soap at Walmart. My mom's going to bitch, but I'll clean the shower. It's not like it's the same shower she showers in. She uses her bathroom and I use the other one.

7:22am  Nick hooked me up with a menthol cigarette outside the Walmart. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks. After-meal smoke. He gave me another one. I appreciate it.

He listened to the first five minutes of my story.

7:51am  I had a great presentation with this girl named Maria at the McDonald's. She had asked me, "How's your study going?" She had already heard about it at the gas station when I picked a butt off the ground and she offered me a cigarette. I told her every day was a new chapter. She was all ears. I told her about my army and everything. I told her, "Tell your friends, water my seed."

Oh yeah, the 88 came. The letter of the day is M. Man, I got tons of M's. I'm going to be riding all day.

"An open heart easily receives love." A marquee on a church on Wurzbach. Oh yeah, the 88, when I got to the corner of Wurzbach and Evers, he driver said, "Hey, there's your bus(534) there." I went, "Damn, I guess I'll walk it." It was cool, I got off the bus and the light was green for me to cross over. I was able to jump on the 534. There must be something waiting for me at the hospital.

I should take a picture of that marquee.

12:35pm  Oh yeah and I see these two guys who I smoked out in Medical Center. We're going to go downtown and smoke some weed. The bus just messed up, so we're going to get on another 92.

12:55pm  Rafael gave me a cigarette at the park. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit. Thank you.

Oh yeah, we had gotten off at the bus stop on St. Mary's and Travis. I wanted a cigarette so I walked to Travis Park. I bummed a cigarette so I'm walking back now.

Oh yeah, there's this guy preaching in the park. I went by him and said, "Talk is cheap. Actions speak louder than words." I told everybody around, "While he's talking, I'm doing."

1:18pm  Abel took a picture of me at St. Mary's and Travis.

1:35pm  I walked to the First Presbyterian Church. This building has a lot of history. I hope they'll let me into the courtyard to take pictures.

1:50pm  This guy who wouldn't give me his name gave me a cigarette. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

2:15pm  Que era tu nombre otra vez? Juanita me dio una dona. Gracias, Maria. Te lo agradezco. Todo el mundo recibe crédito en mi juego. Gracias.

Sweet, scored a donut. I was hungry. I didn't want to wait until three.

2:40pm  Everyone is standing in line for a big three 'o clock feeding. I got me a little nametag. I'm #63. They're going to feed in an hour, at 3:30. Screw that, I'm going to walk to Travis Park and tell my stories and bum a cigarette. I had a donut. I'm good.

2:45pm  I went back to the park and I saw Viagra Bill. He walked up to me and said, "Hey man, I got some Vicadin. I got ten of them." I told him, "No, I don't do drugs. I smoke weed." He just kept walking.

3:20pm  Rick hooked me up with a cigarette here in Travis Park. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

3:29pm  I'm back at the church, ready to eat.

4:16pm  I just got out from eating at the Presbyterian church. Man, that church put out a feast that puts The Endeavor in Arcata's food to shame! That food was just magnificent! I am so stuffed. It was damn good. Pies and cakes, root-beer floats. Man, you name it. They had everything.

4:22pm  I'm back in Travis Park.

4:46pm  Not only did Wolf listen to my story, he gave me a cigarette too. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

5:20pm  I got on the 82 going to Ingram.

6:07pm  I forgot to tell you, I'm at Ingram already. Nobody is giving me a cigarette. This sucks.

7:00pm  I'm already by the Citgo by my mom's house.

7:52pm  I went to the Citgo. The one Habib dude who works there who's always smiling at me, he likes me, he asked me, "Hey, can you do me a favor? Can you make some bags of ice?" I told him, "Sure, I'm always glad to be of service." I loaded up forty bags of ice for him. You know, with a scoop in the back at the ice machine. It took me a while, but I got forty of them out. In the end I asked him, "Hey, can I get a pack of cigarettes?" He hooked me up with the pack and a five dollar bill. Hell yes. I told him thank you and he gave me a wink, hehe. They know me. They know what I'm doing. And this is going to be like a once-in-a-while thing. Cool.

8:02pm  Smoked a menthol cigarette and I'm walking home. I'm going to take a shower, do my laundry and get ready for tomorrow. Tomorrow's my work. Tomorrow my work week starts.

Let's see what's happened to my stuff on my mom's computer.

8:13pm  I am at my mom's house already. There's two cars in the driveway. My sister is here.

8:58pm  It started to get dark now. Man, it turned out nobody was home. I've been trying this whole time to jimmy open the window in the back. I couldn't get it to open. This sucks. Both my mom's and my sister's cars are in the driveway. I don't know where they are. What the hell?

I'm going to walk back to the store and borrow the phone and call my mom.

I went next door to Eddie's to ask to borrow their phone, but they weren't home. I'm walking to the Citgo.

9:14pm  David, here at Church's is hooking me up with some food. I told him, "Hey, can I get something for a dollar." He told me, "Don't worry about it." I appreciate it, brother.

9:30pm  Gil hooked me up with a beer at the Citgo. I offered him some of that food I got hooked up with. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit.

10:08pm  I've been hanging out at the Citgo all night. My friend Vikas. That's the guy who asked me to bag the ice. That's his name. I called my mom and she's going to pick me up. She had been at my little brother's friend's up the street. She's going to come pick me up.

Next day..
