I am telling Anna and Alex my story at our camp. What are your emails? mochifiend@aol.com, ace_of_phrenia@fastmail.fm

7:20am I woke up on the wrong side of the tent again. Ugh, I am so tired of Carol bitching. I just feel like I could be going so much faster somewhere else and by myself. Carol just pisses me off sometimes. Like yesterday, it was Sunday, a day off. I started working on this river dam project. Right by the firepit. I made steps down the cliff to the river. I started stacking rocks to form a little whirlpool. While I was stacking rocks in the river Carol came over and said, "You need to work on the steps more first." I told her, "I can get up and down them just fine." She said, "Oh, it's only for you then?" I went, "Yeah, this is my little project right now. I can make it like I want to." She was all put a step here, put a step there. I got mad and told her, "Just leave me alone already and let me build my dam."

2:27pm  We're back in the peach orchard thinning again. Earlier I worked on my dam in the river. It sucks, I got my watch wet and it messed up. Even though it says WR 100 meters. It just stopped working. I thought I was going to have to go back to that cheap Walmart watch of mine that Carol has been wearing. I was able to unscrew the back off and air it out. Now it's working again.

5:59am  Be sure to download The Wastemakers by Vance Packard.

Whoa, the first quote in the book, "A society in which consumption has to be artificially stimulated in order to keep production going is a society founded on trash and waste. Such a society is a house built upon sand." Dorothy L. Sayers

Next day..
