9:20am I woke up around 9:13. I got a full night's sleep. That's good. I just got out of the bathroom. That was so cool how I scored a place to crash last night. I went in the Blockbuster which closes at midnight and these kids rescued me! Like after I came out of the bathroom one guy goes, "I've seen you before, haven't I?" I told them that I come here every year. I unleashed my story on them and they loved it. Raymond has asked me where I was going to crash and I told him I didn't know. That I had just got dropped off by the trucker. He told me I could go over to his house. He even told me about this other hippie dude he had let stay there for three weeks. This trailer is a little messy, so I'm going to pull the same thing I did in Socorro last year and clean.
It's so cool I have a headquarters I can leave my backpack at while I walk around down and spread my word. I'm all excited.
10:42am Raymond and I are taking off into town. He's going to go look for jobs and walk around. I wanna go tell people my story and see if I can get smoked out somewhere.
11:33am We just came out of the Magic Mushrooms Sixties Experience Store. It's a badass little store. There's this hippie dude in there. I'm going to go tell him my story one of these days.
11:40am We stopped at the Diamond Shamrock at the top of the hill. Sudderth Lane still. Raymond offered to buy me a pack of cigarettes. I appreciate it, brother.
1:02pm We came back to Raymond's trailer and jammed out to my NOFX CD. Now we're going to walk to Raymond's parent's house.
6:40pm I have had a very enjoyable day. Pretty relaxed. I rested a lot. I'm still tired and I want to take a nap. Oh yeah, Raymond and I walked all the way to his mom's house in Ruidoso Downs, which is a whole separate city. It's got a big horse racetrack. I ended leaving my cigarettes at his house when we left. His mom brought us to this bistro in Midtown and we loaded up some speakers and music equipment in her Bronco that she got Ebay for cheap. Since I left my cigarettes we'll drop off the stereo equipment at Raymond's trailer and I'll ride back to his mom's to get them. Then I'll walk back to Raymond's. Raymond lives in trailer park behind the Walgreen's and Blockbuster. Oh yeah, over here by Raymond's mom's there's a taqueria. Watch me score.
I still think it's so awesome how I had automatic-friends here too. I mean, just because the Walgreen's was closed I went to the Blockbuster.
Oh yeah, and Raymond has already given me a key! Like a spare key. He even told me, "I'm going to Albuquerque this weekend. If you're still here you can stay at my house." I've got a headquarters and my story to tell. I'm going to go up to Midtown where all the tourists are. I'll go to the Time Square Plaza and tell my stories.
Disco Taco is what this place is called.
6:51pm Me estan dando comida en Disco Taco. Te lo agradezco, señor. Todo el mundo recibe crédito, gracias.
I think the manager's name is Joel Valenzuela. Junior and Senior work here.
That taco was just delicious. Good stuff.
I scored me one delicious taco at Disco Taco. It was real good.
7:21pm I walked all the way to the McDonald's. I'm back in Ruidoso. I walked in the McDonalds to get some water and I ran into Raymond and his dad.
12:48am I just saw a great movie at Raymond's. The Boondock Saints. It was a damn good movie.
"Destroy all evil so good may flourish."
2:34am I'm going to go to sleep. We got tired of waiting for Andrew to come over with the marijuana. I'm going to go crash out.
