 Paonia to Steamboat Springs, CO

Sunday July 2, 2006

                   We're headed to the gathering tonight. We're going to stay at the gathering how long? Until Wednesday. Then we're going to come back to Paonia and wait for Scott to come back. He's going to take us to Boulder. We're going to see if he can give us a ride all the way to San Antonio. We'll strap the bikes to the top of the car and hit our storage place in Longmont. Then I'm going back to San Antonio and crash at my mom's house for a bit.

     7:50pm  We're finally loaded up to go to the gathering. It took forever. There was a big ordeal here. Fuck the farm. It's as much of Babylon as any other place. Stupid rules and regulations and power trips.

     8:47pm  We're about to take off in the car and go to the gathering. All this drama happened today. Oh well, we'll be leaving the farm when we come back. The gathering is in Steamboat Springs.

     5:31am  Around two we got pulled over. Carol was driving. We were only twenty miles short of the gathering. We got pulled over because one brake light was dimmer than the other. What bullshit. Carol ended up having a warrant for failure to appear for a no-seatbelt ticket in Boulder, so they arrested her and she's back in jail. We're going to crash out now. I am going to spange the gathering tomorrow and try to get Carol out of jail.
