     7:09am  I just woke up. I had a really good night's sleep. It wasn't that cold last night. I spread out my poncho and used that extra blanket for cover. I wrapped the scarf around my head and covered my eyes. I slept real good. Now, I'm going to take a piss in this alley and walk over to breakfast.

     7:47am  I am at the church for breakfast. They're not serving yet. There's all these people and it's crowded.

     8:36am  For being free food this line sure is taking a long time. It's not even moving? They give, you take. It doesn't get more simple than that. What's the holdup?

     9:05am  I was outside in front of the church after I ate breakfast. I wanted an after-meal smoke and Steve hooked me up with a couple hits of weed. Thanks a lot Steve.

     9:16am  Sowongji was generous enough to give me a cigarette. I appreciate it, brother.

     9:25am  I bummed a cigarette off this Asian guy. I'm walking all stoned from that guy who gave me a hit after breakfast. I'm going to walk to the library. I've been doing this for about three days. See, to get to the library I could walk all the way down to the library and climb up the big long steps or I figured out that I could take a little nature trail, go along the building and not have to climb the steps. That's what I've been doing every day. It's a lot more fun than climbing up those steps.

     1:25pm  I'm tired of typing. I'm going to go take a nap.

     2:20pm  I just got up. I couldn't take a nap. Hmm, I need to be flying a sign and collecting email addresses.

     2:25pm  John hooked me up with a cigarette. Thanks, dude.

     2:30pm  I came to that sign shop in the Sather Gate Parking Garage. I asked them how much a marker was and the girl told me two dollars. I had one dollar. I tried to tell the girl working there about my plan and what I needed the marker for. She didn't hook me up, but recommended I try next door at the Postal Annex because they had lower prices. Sure enough, she was right. I went across the hall and the same markers only cost $1.40. I asked this dude who was in there, Joe Taylor if he had any change and he gave me a dollar! Now I have a marker and I can work my magic.

     3:24pm  Destiny was nice enough to give me a cigarette. I appreciate it, Destiny.

     4:25pm  The weirdest thing. I had just turned on Bancroft from Telegraph and this girl parked in a car offers me some Cracker Jacks. At first I thought she was offering me the whole thing and I grabbed the whole bag. She snatched it back and said I couldn't have it all. She had a great sense of humor about the whole thing. Her name is Keli and she gave me her email address. Check this out, she's from San Antonio, too. What a small world.

     5:51pm  I just finished making my sign. It's a big ass sign. It's going to be awesome.

     5:56pm  I'm on Telegraph and Haste and Paz just gave me $2 for the cause. I told her I wasn't asking for money, but she insisted. She believes in me.

     8:20pm  This guy I knew offered to smoke me out and we just had a little session behind these apartments. Whoa, this girl just pulled up in a truck. I don't think she's a cop. Umm, I'm going to talk to this girl. I'm going to tell her to read my sign.

                  Bam, she listened and I even got her email address.

                  Man, that was so awesome. I asked the guy who smoked me out if he wanted to hear a story. He said sure and I told him it was around thirty minutes long. He was cool with that. I told it all to him and at the end he was all, "You are like one of the most interesting persons I've ever met."

     8:25pm  James was generous enough to give me a couple bucks for the cause. Another person who just volunteered without me asking. I appreciate it, James.

                   Haha, I just got me another two bucks. I can get me some day-old donuts whenever I want! I love this place!

     8:31pm  Waylon is hooking me up with a cigarette. I told him about my plan.

     9:18pm  Christina is hooking me up with a cigarette. Thank you.

     9:54pm  Thomas just gave me a rolly. Badass.

                   Look up Peace Program online.

     11:10pm  I'm going to crash at the cleaners. I'm going to lie down and go to sleep. I have all my bags secured with my walking stick. My walking stick, my water bottle, my Adidas bag and my backpack. Oh yeah, my canteen is in my backpack, that's right. I should stop counting the canteen because I'm going to carry it around empty while I am in Berkeley.asdsa
