                                                                                                             Boulder, CO

Monday August 8, 2005

     10:09am  I just woke up.

11:10am  I packed up all my stuff and I'm leaving. I got to sleep in late at my squat.

I'm going to go hit up the Middle Eastern Restaurant, The Ka-Bob House, the gyro place, for breakfast. The nice guy in there offered when I went last time. I'm going to get to the school today and do some typing. Today is Monday.

11:44am  I got hooked up at the Ka-Bob House. It was a great breakfast. Damn good. Gourmet stuff. I'm going to go to the Boulder Gas station and take a shit.

Okay, I'm already at the mall. I went and sat down in front of the Wells Fargo Bank.

12:51pm  I am talking to Dustin. What was your email, bro? shortstop04@comcast.net

I had a great presentation. Well, I didn't get to tell Dustin my whole odyssey. Him and his friends are from California. They even pulled out a camcorder and taped my presentation.

12:57pm  Julia just volunteered me some food in the mall. I appreciate it, Julia. Julia: "You're welcome. It's egg-salad."

1:02pm  Jack and his friends came by on their bikes and he gave me a cigarette. I appreciate it. Everybody gets credit, thanks. After-meal smoke.

1:08pm  I'm talking to Jack and his friends. I just told them my story. What's your email? primetimebig9@yahoo.com

                   Another great presentation.

1:30pm  Brian hooked me up with a cigarette on Pearl Street Mall. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

2:28pm  I'm talking to Cam and Zander in the mall. What's your email, address? raisedongranola@yahoo.co.uk

3:27pm  Somebody who didn't give me their name gave me a cigarette. Thanks.

4:03pm  The greedy ass bus driver wouldn't give me a ride. Oh well. Everybody gets credit.

Another lady who wouldn't give me her name gave me some change for bus fare. I appreciate it, ma'am.

4:07pm  Will is being nice enough to help me out with bus fare. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

4:13pm  I am at the college now. I'm going to walk to the library.

5:07pm  I am leaving the library. They closed early. I didn't get that much work done. I think I lost a tape. I think I've misplaced one of the tapes I've been taping on. I don't know what happened from Socorro to Santa Fe. I don't know what happened.

5:52pm  I just researched and I found that missing chunk. It's on the whole Side B of this one tape I haven't typed up yet. I haven't lost anything. I still have a whole ninety minute tape and a half to type up. Then I'm caught up.

5:59pm  I just came to the mall and switched out tapes. Today is 8-8-05. I'm glad I found that lost chunk. I really hate losing history. I don't know what I'm going to do right now. I'd like some marijuana.

7:16pm  Robert hooked me up with a cigarette on Pearl Street Mall. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

7:38pm  Marty hooked me up with a cigarette over on 9th Street. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

8:18pm  Brian just hooked me up with a salad. I appreciate it, brother.

8:45pm  Nicholas, he read my mind. I wanted a cigarette and he volunteered me one. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

9:09pm  I'm standing in front of Old Chicago with my sign asking people, "Spare change for world peace?" When they walk by and ignore me I go, "Oh, you don't want world peace? Nobody wants world peace! If you're not part of the cure, you're part of the disease!" Anyway, Travis and his friends invited me to go smoke somewhere. Over by the gutterpunks, under this tree in front of the courthouse.

9:16pm  I ended having a good night tonight. I ran into Travis who hooked me up with a little bit of weed for my story telling. I got smoked out. Hell yeah! Umm, I'm going to go tell my story now.

9:41pm  I'm talking to these three kids in front of the courthouse. What were your names? Karen, Zack and Grace. What were your emails? I couldn't understand Karen's. She was all spaced out.

10:59pm  Janey hooked me up with a cigarette. I appreciate it, sister. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

11:23pm  I'm walking home already. Ugh, this makes me mad. I just walked around in one big circle.

11:40pm  I guess I should make an update now. I figured out where I messed up walking and went the wrong way. I was on Spruce and I thought it was Valmont. I ended up all the way back on Pearl Street by 20th. I stopped at the picnic bench at the Nature Conservancy and took a cigarette break. Just passed the pond. Walking on Folsom now. I'm going to get me some more Mother's fifty cent cookies.

12:05am  Nesta hooked me up with some change at the 7-11. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, man. Thanks.

I'm at the 7-11 talking to Nesta, telling him my story. What's your email, brother? jojojo@colorado.edu

12:20am  I am leaving the 7-11. It got boring. Man, the ignorant cashier there. She was in there reading a magazine all alone. I hit her up for my story and she said sure. This chick actually keeps reading the magazine while she "listens" to me. That got me really frustrated and I left. I mean, she had told me she was willing to listen, damnit. Damn the ignorance in this world. And they had these two old burnt burritos there. I asked her if they were going to throw those away and the stupid girl told me, "Oh no, we're going to send those in to get credit for them." That's such bullshit and I know it.

12:28am  I bought some cookies at the Conoco across the street from the Flowerama. I came to my squat and I'm going to make my bed now.

Next day..
