San Antonio, TX

Saturday August 9, 2008

10:54am  I got seven hours of sleep. I'm going to wake and bake.

3:51pm  I'm off. I haven't made any entries today. Well, I did when I woke up. I'm bored today with nothing to do. I'm going to go fly my sign again. It's Saturday. At Bandera Pointe again. When I get there I'll walk across the highway to the Exxon and buy some Buglers.

Oh yeah, and I looked on the Internet this morning how long Loop 1604 is. It's 94.4 miles. It's the longest loop in the Texas.

                   Loop 410 is 49 miles.

4:15pm  Here I am on my median again. Actually, I am trying the outside of the loop side today.

4:25pm  This guy in a truck just gave me a dollar. "You made us laugh," he said.

Oh yeah, and at the Tigermart where I bought my cigarettes at, right when I walked inside a girl working there said, "Well, if it isn't Victor Antonio from San Antonio?" It's this girl Ashley who used to work at the Quickstuff Shell station with Josh. She works there now and she hooked me up with a hotdog.

4:35pm  Haha, a cop just yelled at me over his loudspeaker. "Get your stuff and go home!" I yelled back, "I'm not doing anything wrong. Come back and talk to me! I'm just exercising my freedoms!"

4:36pm  Briana just volunteered me a dollar at the stoplight. I appreciate it, Briana. Everybody gets credit. Thanks a lot.

5:28pm  I hopped back on the inside of the loop side and sure enough that cop drove by again and yelled at me. He's going to come back around right now. Let me walk in the HEB parking lot so I can talk to him.

5:34pm  Officer Serrona(sounded like) just gave me a warning. He told me they were arresting panhandlers. I told him that I wasn't panhandling or asking for money. He said I couldn't be out there. That I was a distraction and I was stopping traffic. Even though the stoplight stops traffic right there. He told me only the people selling newspapers could stand there. That it was a city ordinance. I had volunteered him my ID but he was all, "I'm just going to give you a warning, not even run you. You sure you don't have no warrants??" He told me everybody was calling about me. Oh well. That's my sign to leave now, but I'll be back.

I didn't tell you that I found another fortune on the ground. This one says, "Your goal will be reached very soon." Awesome.

Next day..
