9:31am This morning I woke up early, as usual. I changed my pants and Carol started bitching at me. She was all saying how she hadn't gotten any sleep because of police sirens and shit. I slept just fine. She was all ranting on about how she stayed up all night making sure I didn't get wet. I don't even think it rained that much last night. A cigarette I had left out last night was still dry. Anyway, I grabbed my dry boots and she started bitching about how I was getting the camp all dirty. That how last night she had spent all this time brushing all the particles off our floor. First off, it's never that bad. Second, it was on my side of the room. She was all bitching about how she didn't want to sleep in filth. She just pissed me off so I left. I was even telling her that if she didn't like it so much that I could leave permanently. She was all calling me selfish and shit. Screw that.
Yesterday was pretty cool, but I can't remember the details right now. Carol helps me log sometime and she said that she would recap yesterday this morning. At first I walked around and found some snipes. Then I went to the laundromat for a crossword puzzle. It was like seven forty five and they didn't open until eight. I sat down on a bench in front of the Dairy Queen and went over the carved tags that I had written on my stick with a pen. I have World Peace Through Marijuana, Victor the Liberator with a peace sign, my email and havethisbook.com. It killed time great. I went back to the McDonald's and stole some lemonade. Maybe I'll ask for spare change for breakfast. I'll head back to camp around ten. Oh yeah, Ed volunteered me a cigarette at McDonald's.
Carol: "About sixty percent of the above is bullshit. We've already made up anyway. So let's see...yesterday we got up and got some cash at Safeway. Receipt for dogfood. We walked to Safeway then took the bus to Broadway. We met this guy at the bus stop who had just been hit by a car(death machine). He just got out of the hospital. We rode the Skip bus to Mapleton Street. We got off and walked seven blocks straight up to 3rd street for the pain clinic appointment I had. My tooth was hurting too and I had some aspirin so I bit one in half, but I accidentally hit a nerve so when I went in to see the Doc I was in some really bad pain. He immediately gave me two pills of something I forgot the name of, but it fucked me up. Then we walked to Pearl, had lunch at the co-op, and walked to Baseline to go to Boulder Workforce. I know the door code. We go inside and used their computers, then met up with Kent for a few minutes then went home. We went to sleep around eleven.
Next day, Saturday. It rained :[ it sucked. We covered everything up and went to the library. Then we met Bodhi at the library and walked to Wild Oats and got some ice cream after a safety meeting in the park. Vic and I took the bus back to our place. By this time the rain had stopped. Kent came by and some dude from the church told us we had to move. Vic told him part of his story, and that we were missionaries. He said we could stay one more night. We packed up and Kent found us a cool place down the walking trail. All three of us worked on the transfer until dark. It was pretty cool. We still have to fix the tree wall. We slept there last night."
Next day..
