6:56am Just woke up about five minutes ago. I only got five hours of sleep, that sucks. I'll take a nap sometime today. Last night Virginia told me about some island, but the log you had to walk over it looked pretty precarious and I didn't want to risk falling in the water, so I found a place closeby in the woods to camp. In this natural park here.
Ha, there's a sign that says no camping. Fuck the system!
7:24am Up and at 'em. All packed up and leaving. I'm going to try and find some place to take a shit.
Higgins Bridge
8:05am I ended up at the Poverello Center. I missed breakfast. They have donuts and stuff from 4am to 7:30am. Lunch is at 11:30am, so I'll come back for that.
10:04am I just came to this place called the Salcido Drop-In Center at that First Baptist Church of Missoula. They had computers there and I was able to do some typing! I am in Lopez Island already in my typing. I just typed up the day I woke up and that little bird visited me. I have to wait until 11:30am for food. I think I'm going to walk downtown.
10:15am I left the drop-in center, but I went back because I forgot my USB drive.
10:54am Sergio just volunteered me five dollars. I was flying my breast exams sign and he turned around with his friend and asked me if he could borrow it. His friend held it and he took his picture. I appreciate it, Sergio. Everybody gets credit. Thanks a lot.

11:39am I am late for lunch. I had so much fun spreading the word on the corner downtown. I met Cat and she said she might put me on the radio.
12:26pm Alexis volunteered me a dollar so I can get some printouts at the library. I need more havethisbook.coms.
1:23pm Leaving the library. I got got twenty eight more sheets of printouts.
4:00pm I just woke up from a nap at the drop-in center. They have these couches at the front where I've seen other homeless guys taking naps. I just woke up and somebody stole my walking stick! I looked around for it everywhere and couldn't find it. Ugh. Oh well, there's plenty of sticks around I can make a new one out of. My new one will be even better, I promise.
Afterwards I went outside and at the bus terminal across the street I saw one of the volunteers that works at the drop-in center. I approached him with my story and he agreed to listen. I had an awesome presentation with him.
5:11pm I was just told I was in Mountain Time, I forgot to change my watch.
Listener
6:06pm I am leaving from dinner at the Poverello. Right before that I told my story to this guy who works at the drop-in center. He listened to me great and even had said he had heard about me. "You've been through El Paso, right?" he asked me. He told me, "I'm not going to doubt you. It's been proven before that one man can make a difference." Hell yeah, that's music to my ears. I'm downtown telling other people my story and he just rode by on his bike and told the people I was talking to, "Listen to his story. It's interesting." That dude's got my back.
6:33pm Matt just hooked me up with a cigarette on Main and Higgins. Everybody gets credit, man. Thanks.
7:07pm Awesome presentation with Mike Ditkas. He listened to me hardcore. Important part and note from the rich and everything.
Dylan and Levi, I had an awesome presentation right now with them. Thanks for listening, guys. You'll be on there when I update it.
I'm going to go hit up El Cazador, a fancy Mexican restaurant downtown on the corner of Front and Higgins.
7:40pm Hmm, I am just standing here at the front of the restaurant. They seem to be deciding if they're going to talk to me or not.
Finally somebody came up and talked to me. This older Mexican lady. I was sure to give her my website and she's talking to the manager right now. They most likely think I am homeless. I don't have a walking stick either.
She came up to me and told me, "Aurita te atienden."
They hooked me up, sweet. For a long time I stood there then the Mexican manager pointed to a white plastic bag they had discreetly placed on the table I was by. Big burrito.
8:13pm I had a good presentation with Brandon. He wouldn't let me take his picture. Come on, don't you want to help me write history? Nothing but the truth. At the part how I explain how I get free food I was able to show him the food I got from El Cazador.
Across the street where I stopped to smoke a cigarette I see another Mexican restaurant, La Parilla. There's another Mexican restaurant I can hit up some other time.
9:09pm What was your name, bro? Zack Bracket. He just rode by on his bike and stopped and asked me, "Hey bro, have you ever been to Arcata? Do you usually have a walking stick with a tennis ball at the bottom?" Yeah, that's me. Recognized!
9:11pm Holden was nice enough to volunteer me an apple. He had first offered me a plastic bag to stay dry, but thanks anyway, I've got it covered.
9:14pm I knew Holden wasn't going to agree to listen when he said sin was the world's greatest problem. He gave me an apple so that's cool. I'm going to go find a place to camp.
10:48pm I didn't tell you, I already made my shelter on the beach right here close to the bridge, I made my lean-to. People can see me as they are walking over the bridge, but fuck it. Cops have been real nice to me in this town.
