8:21am  I woke up at the barn. I'm supposed to be at The Endeavor at nine, so I'm hurrying. I'm going to get my glasses today hopefully, or get signed up for my glasses. Something like that.

8:31am  I just walked past the Cash Oil. All these dudes were out there drinking coffee. I rushed past because I need to get to The Endeavor. I heard this one dude say, "Hey, do you play basketball?" I didn't even look at him(bceause I don't have my glasses) and shouted back, "No, do you race horses?"

9:20am  I'm standing here waiting at The Endeavor. There were like four people already there. I saw Rosendo, the guy who's going to help me with the glasses. I'm just going to wait until people finish talking with him. They have a lot of snacks. I filled up with banana bread and pastries. It was all real good. They're doing food boxes today. There's all these families here and stuff.

9:44am  I just got done with Kit, some counselor who opened my file at The Endeavor. She asked me all these questions. She told me I could use The Endeavor's address for mail. I'm still waiting to talk to Rosendo about getting me some glasses. I also told them I needed new boots. Kit asked me, "Is there anything else you want to tell me about?" I told her my stuff about how I was going to save the world. She said, "Wow, then you can include us in your book of generosity, also." I told her exactly. Cool.

10:45am  I'm still standing here waiting for Rosendo to come out.

11:10am  I'm talking to Rosendo now and he's going to help me get my glasses. Rosendo said, "I love people and everybody to me has a heart. I don't care if you're a drunk or an alcoholic. You come into my office and I try to find the good in you and bring that out and build your self-esteem. Because you know what? The system puts people down and programs them to be like robots. You become a program to the system and then when the system dumps you, they don't even try to help you." I told Rosendo about my mission and he listened attentively. In the end all he had to tell me was, "Do it."

Rosendo has to fax my request over to some committee who has to approve my glasses. He told me to come back Monday and talk to Sandy, the director.

11:22am  I finally talked to Rosendo and it turns out I have to wait until Monday. But, I told Rosendo my whole platform and he was all, "Count me in, brother."

As soon as I get my glasses I'm going back to San Antonio. I need boots, too. I got a whole week to look for boots.

12:10am  I just ran into some other guy who knew me. Oh yeah, when I was walking back from staying with the treesitter I talked to this guy who was stopped on the road and told him what I was doing. He gave me some stuff.

12:11am  Bill gave me another cigarette. He hooked me up yesterday, too.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that Toby gave me a cigarette the other night in front of Don's.

12:45pm  I stopped and bummed a cigarette. I ran into those old dudes that I met a while back(9-3-03, 7:17am) at the railroad tracks. Back before I used to crash in the barn. He had made me feel all welcome there, I remember. I see people I know every day in this town. That's cool. They're all going to know about it when it happens. I'm going to walk to the school and get back to work.

1:15pm  I just got done taking a shit

at the library. I'm going to go get on a computer and check my email.

5:45pm  I'm taking a break. I had a very monumental day for my mission. Well, at least I hope I have. I was digging through my Internews folder and I finally emailed them. I finally typed up the day I had gotten the folder, so I sent that to them. I'm hoping they'll see how important it is that they read my stuff. Maybe I'll have some support. I told them I would welcome any reply, be it advice or criticism. I am very happy now. This is exactly what I needed to get me out of my funk. I typed up a couple days on the computer. I've just been not wasting time doing stuff. I'm going to take a piss and go spange for a donut. I deserve it. It's a little colder, so I'm going to go change into my army pants and put on another shirt.

I filled up my water bottle at the fountain.

6:00pm  I found a cigarette in the cigarette post. I'm going to walk to the donut shop and bum me up a donut. I'll fuel up, then come back. I can stay until 11:45pm, I think. Let me check the hours, I think they close earlier, now.

Monday through Thursday until 11:45pm. Badass.

6:15pm  I'm at the donut shop now. I'll try my luck.

6:32pm  Serena was generous enough to give me some change for a donut. Thanks a lot, Serena.

6:37pm  I just got me a dollar. That's cool, that girl Serena hooked me up with a dollar. Oh, and I forgot this is the best way to get my stuff out. I told her all my stuff. She gave me her email address. I'm going to follow up with her for sure.

Should I buy just a regular donut? Hmm, I want an apple fritter though. And a milk. I need $2.10.

6:40pm  Kathy walked by and I asked her if she could spare some change for a donut. She said, "Nope, but do you want a smoke?" She's giving me a cigarette. I appreciate it, Kathy. Everybody gets credit in my game.

6:50pm  These two guys just came up on skateboards and I asked them. They told me they didn't have any money. They went inside and bought some donuts and one of the guys came out and told me he found some change. I'll get his name in a minute when he comes out.

Matt was generous enough to give me forty cents for my donut.

6:57pm  Bob just hooked me up with some change. Thanks a lot, brother.

I think Bob just gave me enough to get what I want. Cool.

7:25pm  I came over to the trashcan by The Alibi, which someone stole the lid to and Bobby smoked me out, getting me ready to go back to the school. I appreciate it, brother.

7:35pm  Sweet, I got smoked out! I'm heading back to the school. I got me another four hours of typing to do, then I'll take off and go crash in my barn, go home.

11:04pm  Man, I'm almost caught up. Well, not almost caught up. I think I'm on the 12th or something. But, I should take into account that I lost like a week-long gap since I lost my recorder. I'm done here at the library. I'm kind of tired, so I'm just going to walk to the barn and go to sleep. I'll walk to the plaza and maybe somebody will smoke me out. Remember I have to talk to Sandy Monday at The Endeavor.

11:34pm  I'm trying to score a donut before I got to bed.

11:39pm  Andy hooked me up with some change for a donut. Everybody gets credit in my game, brother.

12:08am  I just got to the barn. I'll put my bed together and crash out. I had a very productive day. I typed up a lot of stuff.

Next day..
