7:30am I woke up. Man, I slept a shitload. Like over twelve hours. I kind of feel a sore throat coming on . . . and I was a little warm when they took my temperature, 100 degrees. I hope I slept enough to kill any sickness off. I'm going to wake up and smoke a cigarette.
8:02am I just counted and seventeen people stayed at the barn last night. Might've been eighteen. I didn't know that was a person right there.
8:55am I didn't like the barn that much this morning. Like nineteen people crashed out. We smoked weed, but I'm feeling kind of sick. I hate admitting this, because I tell people I haven't been sick in four years since I walk so much. Oh, it's because I took a swig of Canadian Whiskey this morning. A big swig. I really shouldn't have. Alcohol sucks. It kind of brought me down this morning. I slept well over twelve hours last night. I shouldn't be sick anymore. But, I still feel down. My eyes are all sore. Like, when I have to look around, it hurts to look around with my eyes and I have to close them, turn my head then open them. That's alright, though. I'm walking. It'll get better.
9:10am Cameron was nice enough to give me a whole dollar in front of the donut shop. Sweet, I got enough to get me an apple fritter!
9:21am I just went in the bus station and asked the guy how much a ticket from SF to Raton, NM was. He told me $145. That's about how much is costs to get to San Antonio.
9:32am Okay, this is starting to freak me out. Like I say, I haven't been sick in years and years. Now, I have unprotected sex in the barn and I'm sick! I'm all worried about it now. I guess I should go back to San Antonio and get checked. Damn, that sucks.
9:37am I talked to Sandy and she told me, "I still couldn't find it, Victor." I asked to speak to Rosendo and she told me he was with somebody on the phone. I told her I would try back.
Now I'm getting all paranoid that the feds are keeping me here. I'm going to stay until at least next Saturday, so I can spange some more and then take off. Maybe. If my boots last that long. Oh yeah, there's a pair of size twelve shoes at The Raven House that I can go get if I need to.
10:41am I just told Josh and Cindy my story at The Endeavor.
11:11am Christy just gave me the last of her cigarette. Oh yeah, she let me try her glasses on and I see a lot better with them. Christy told me she wished she had a spare pair, but I told her it was alright. That I should be getting mine soon.
11:13am Man, I'm really worried about the whole being sick thing and thinking I now have an STD. I've had the best immune system so far. I really hadn't been sick for a long time and now I'm sick. I had unprotected sex, too. Hmmm.
11:21am The Endeavor lost my check. Now they have to get another one reissued. Man, I'm feeling sick. I'm going to go to the barn and lie down after I eat.
11:56am I'm in line waiting to eat. Rosendo just came up and told me I would have to wait until Monday or Tuesday next week for a new check.
12:45pm Jake just gave me a cigarette. I appreciate it, brother. You know, I really shouldn't be smoking while I'm sick.
12:52pm I'm going to walk out to the barn and lay down. That couple who just got into town, Josh and Cindy, they're coming too.
1:20pm We all just got to the barn. Everything's cool. Sky was crashed here already. She said, "Wow, this is the first time I've been able to sleep in until 1pm in ages." Her dog woke up. Josh and Cindy are really enjoying it, too. They're all happy and giving each other hugs and kisses.
4:20pm I just woke up from my nap. Coincidence? I don't know. I asked everyone if anyone could help me celebrate what time it was, but nobody has any. Oh yeah, they built a cool little shelter over here.
