8:36am  I only got four hours of sleep last night. I was wandering around the streets and I ended up on Central Avenue. I walked by this 2715 N. Central, Haresh Sawlani MD. The offices are on top of the building with parking underneath it. I found me this air conditioner that I was able to crawl underneath and got a little sleep. This Mexican dude woke me up this morning and told me I had to leave before the doctors got there, or else he would be in trouble.

8:53am  Let me get a little more descriptive. Last night I was just wandering around after I got off the bus. There was absolutely nowhere to sleep. This Babylon is so crowded. Humans have invaded this place really bad. All the houses are close together and you can see right through the fences. I finally found that doctors office and went underneath and slept under the air conditioner. The Mexican security guard found me this morning. I talked to him in Spanish so he was cool with me. He even told me I could continue to crash there if I was sure to be up early in the morning. The first bus driver didn't give me a courtesy ride. I'm going to walk towards downtown and hopefully I'll come across a taqueria.

9:05am  Elisabeth en Santiago me dio una fruta. Todo el mundo recibe credito, gracias.

That Elisabeth lady at that Mexican restaurant was beautiful.

9:30am  I'm going to try my luck at the Taqueria Amigo Chino at Irving Park and central Avenue.

9:31am  They gave me the 'ol manager's not here bullshit.

There's another restaurant right across the street.

9:43am  Glenn, he came in the taqueria I just came in and talked to me. He offered to get me some food! I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, man. Thanks.

9:49am  Hell yeah! They told me no at the Taqueria Amigo Chino, so I went to the one across the street to try my luck. I don't think the guy understood me at first. He kept answering me in English and I was talking to him in Spanish. He didn't say anything. He just turned around and started cooking food again. I assumed he was going to hook me up. I went in the bathroom to take a piss and when I came out that guy Glenn was there. He saw me, smiled and asked me how I was doing. I gave him the usual I'm-the-happiest-man-in-the-world line. He asked me if I was a hitchhiker and I told him no, that I walked until somebody picked me up. I don't stick my thumb out(usually). He said, "Well, are you hungry?" I told him, "Man, I walk for a living. I can always eat." He ended up ordering me this badass steak and eggs.

I took a picture of it.

10:29am  I just came out of the taqueria. I used the bathroom and took my thermals off. The sun came out and it's hotter.

10:34am  The greedy ass driving the 80 won't give me a ride.

10:42am  I'm going to take a nap in this park right here. I only got four hours of sleep last night. I got stuffed good with Mexican food and I'm tired. I'll try and find a sunny spot to lie down in.

12:20pm  I tried to take a nap, but I couldn't fall asleep. I just lay there for about an hour or so. I'm leaving now.

12:30pm  The next greedy ass driving the bus won't give me a ride. I was just testing you.

The next guy didn't give me a ride either.

Funny pin this lady had on her purse.

12:47pm  Like four bus drivers just told me no in a row. All the traffic gets backed up at the stoplight so I got the idea to pull out my WPTMJ sign. I flew my sign and one lady gave me three dollars! Awesome! That's busfare. It's two dollars for bus fare, that's expensive. I am on my way downtown now.

I got dropped off at Lakeshore and Irving Park. It's still a ways to downtown.

Picture I took out the bus window.

1:55pm  I just got off the bus over by the library on State Street.

2:43pm  I just got out of the library. I'm going to go to the Barnes and Nobles and stand there again. My secure Chicago workstation.

3:31pm  I was flying my sign in front of B&N and Marcus just stopped and asked me, "Hey man, have you been in Colorado??" I told him years ago. I told him I had been in Boulder for nine months. That's so awesome. Thanks for making contact. I'm everywhere.

     3:52pm  Stephanie

not only listened to my story, but she gave me a cigarette too. I took her picture and gave her a big hug. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

                   Some other pretty girl

                   Two girls

7:42pm  I spent a long time spreading my word in front of the Barnes and Noble that's in front of DePaul University. The nice security guard from yesterday let me use the restroom. He's already read my webpage. He says he loves it. That he liked it a lot.

8:26pm  I had a good presentation with Maggie and Aaron. You guys will be on there when I update it.

8:32pm  Britanny just hooked me up with a cigarette in front of the Art Institute. I appreciate it, Brittany. Everybody gets credit.

Next day..
