11:01am  Today I am going to try spanging. I'm going to fly my sign at the Vons. Anything helps, God bless. I rode Bob's bike all the way up to the Vons. Carol is supposed to come meet me up here later. I'm going to go get some money so we can go up to Santa Barbara and buy some weed, hell yeah.

11:07am  Five cars have passed me and still no donations.

                     Six.

11:10am  Ten people have passed with no donations. I'm going to I'm going to wait until fifteen and try the other end of the shopping complex.

     11:14am  Thirteen gave me change!

11:35am  Hellen was nice enough to give me a five dollar bill. I appreciate it.

11:50am  Patty and Vincent, this homeless couple walked by and gave me some change.

12:03pm  Ninety two cars for now. I've been here for an hour. I'm going to move to the other entrance on Harbor Blvd. Right now I am on the from Seaward entrance by the bank.

12:07pm  I'm at the other exit. Let's see how many cars.

12:10pm  Art gave me a dollar. I appreciate it, Art.

12:11pm  This dude in a Mustang just gave me a dollar. I gave him a card. havethisbook.com

12:14pm  Steve just hooked me up with a dollar. This guy in a truck. He called me over.

12:23pm  Cole, 5RJX651, blue minivan, hooked me up with a dollar.

This guy just hooked me up 4KU7514, CA. Just hooked me up with a dollar, hell yeah.

12:30pm  This random guy just hooked me up with three dollars. Awesome.

12:45pm  I'm moving to the other entrance. It got a little slow over there. I did make a lot of money over there. I got like twelve bucks for a couple hours of spanging.

12:53pm  No biters, I'm going to go back to the other entrance on Harbor.

1:38pm  I didn't tell you, I'm giving up. I'm going home. Nobody gave me anything for like an hour. I'm going to head back home and hopefully Carol is on her way over. I wonder where she was. We could've made twice as much if she would have come with me.

1:57pm  I forgot to tell you already left on Bob's bike. I stopped at a dumpster and found a good little white trashcan for our tent. I hope Carol didn't leave on her way to the Vons while I was coming back. I was out there for two and a half hours and she never came. I'm going back home now. Later.

3:20pm  I just got hooked up! I got a gallon of gas and a ten dollar bill. Right after I told her I was documenting my stuff. Perfect. Carol and I came back up to the Chevron to spange some more.

Larry and Angelo hooked me up with a cigarette at the Chevron. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

4:07pm  Oh, I forgot to tell you we are on our way to Santa Barbara. Gia is giving us a ride, me and Carol. We got lots of money at the gas station. Half a tank full of gas and this lady just offered me a ten dollar bill, after I started logging her generosity. So we are doing our usual weed-run to Santa Barbara now.

6:11pm  I just really want to point out how much I really love this new tape recorder I got. This RCA digital voice recorder. Thirty dollars at Walmart. My mission has evolved. It's awesome. The playback is perfect. I can hear it perfectly. I can turn it on loud and just put it on a table and everyone can hear it play back. It's cool, it has four different folders, like a computer kind of. I can fit ninety-nine messages in each folder. So, when I fill up all my folders I have to type it all up. Carol: "When the batteries run out, won't you lose your stuff?" I don't think so. I think it's got flash memory in it. Where's the instructions? They probably have an eight hundred number you can call and ask them questions.

Oh yeah, I never mentioned, when we went up to the gas station to spange, this lady told me, "Yeah, I can spare a gallon." I brought the gas tank over and I started logging her generosity. When she finished pumping the gas, she was still standing there thinking. Then she pulled out her wallet and said, "I can give you ten dollars." She got us a gram of marijuana in Santa Barbara! Thank you so much. We had gone to the Chevron to spange for gas to get to SB. And we only had the twelve dollars I had made earlier spanging. Carol had a five dollar bill, I think. She was sure to stop in the Vons and make a "return." Then all of a sudden we get this ten dollar bonus from that nice lady. Carol got an eighth for forty five bucks. That's so cool. We went to the store and bought some marijuana.

Next day..
