12:05pm  Man, I haven't been logging at all at Kati's. I just wanted to mention that Kati let me have a whole panzorotti. I had suggested to split it in half at first, but she let me have it all. Awesome. This is good.

1:42pm  I haven't told you guys, but I have decided to leave today. Kati and I just spent like a whole hour hugging and kissing saying goodbye and saying how much we love each other. She's going to go to Texas in January and said she'll come visit me in San Antonio. It'll be awesome. I told her to bring a sleeping bag and we would squat in San Antonio. I am going to miss her so much. Man, it's crazy how love found me out here on the West coast. But, I have to do what I have to do. I have a world to save. It will be nice to leave Babylon again.

3:08pm  I'm getting ready to leave, finally. Kati had told me that I could go return the bike to The Bike Library and get the twenty dollars back. So I'll have some money. I'm going to ride all the way over there with my gear. I'll put my stick under my backpack. I don't know if it's open or not, but if it's not I'll just go park the bike at Brian's, Kati's friend.
I am ready to go, though. I just wrote Kati a note on her laptop that says, "I love you Katie-pie." I signed it Victor the Liberator and put, "p.s. Praise Love!" I'm pretty sure I have my rain poncho. I'll need that.

Ahh, it's not raining so hard.

3:30pm  I just turned in the bike! That was badass. I got twenty dollars in my wallet now. The dude filled out this big questionnaire. He asked me what I thought of cars and I said, "They're death machines."
Now, I have some time to kill before the bus to Scotia comes. Remember, that's how I always get to the Bay Area. I'll ride the bus thirty miles South to Scotia, walk five miles to the Stafford Road RV Park(where I know a place to crash), crash, the next morning I'll walk to Redcrest where they hook me up at the Eternal Treehouse Cafe. After that, I get picked up to the bay. It's worked twice before. Let's see if it works today.

3:37pm  Eric was nice enough to give me a cigarette. Eric is Jessica's friend. Jessica is the girl who is always begging me for my rainbow bracelet. She can't have it.

3:45pm  Dude! This black dude Smell just came up to me and said I should walk down to The Endeavor. That he had overheard something about them having a bus ticket for Victor to San Antonio. Oh my love. I was just about to catch the bus to Scotia and head hitch hiking back to San Antonio. If this turns out to be true, what great synchronicity. I'm going to haul ass to The Endeavor.

3:48pm  I just walked to The Endeavor and they were closing. Sandy opened the door and I asked her, "Hey, I hear you guys have something for me?" She looked puzzled and I told her about the bus ticket. She tells me she hasn't heard anything about that, but that she'll go ask Rosendo.

3:52pm  Eventually, Rosendo came out and talked to me. He asked me who it was that had told me. I told him I wasn't sure about his name, but that he had come out in the paper recently. I grabbed the paper I had in my bag and showed him the picture. He told me he could get me a bus ticket to Scotia, and if I wanted one to San Antonio, he could try and ask the churches in town. He said I would need to have a contact in San Antonio, which I do and an emergency. He winked at me when he told me emergency. I asked him how long it would take and he said maybe a couple weeks. He said that if you buy bus tickets in advance, they're cheaper. I wonder how much cheaper. I wonder what it was that Smell overheard. Hmm. Man, what a dick-tease. I thought I got a bus ticket back home.

Anyway, I don't want to go straight to Texas. I want to go through New Mexico. I'm still going to take off.

Maybe I won't even stop in Berkeley.

Holy shit! I just realized that my rain cloak wasn't in my Adidas bag. I desperately need that. This is Humboldt County, damnit. I need to get it back from Kati's. I'll take off tomorrow or something. Right now I'm going to hitchhike to Eureka and go to The Raven House. I'll surprise Kati.

5:00pm  It's only six miles. Maybe I'm better off walking to Eureka. That's what I'll do. I shouldn't have to walk the whole way. Someone will pick me up.

5:33pm  I am walking to Eureka. I'm stopping underneath this light to stick my thumb out and drink some water.

5:37pm  Ahh, I got tired of sticking my thumb out. I'm just going to walk. Oh yeah, earlier before I left Arcata Jonathan smoked me out. Good 'ol AJ. I saw that Smell kid again when we smoked by the railroad tracks. That dude who had told me about the bus ticket. It turns out there's this alcoholic named Victor who scored a bus ticket to San Antonio from The Endeavor. Man, that's messed up. I deserve a bus ticket more than an alcoholic.

6:28pm  Now entering the Eureka city limits. That was a nice walk.

7:00pm  I'm in Eureka now. I'm going to walk to The Raven House.

10:40pm  Michelle, the girl who gave me a ride one time in Arcata, that really pretty girl who stopped in front of Porter Street BBQ(11-02-03, 12:13pm), she gave Kati and I a ride back to Arcata. I got all excited because she started playing a Weezer song. Weezer's awesome. Kati went and got her bike. Since I don't have a bike I'm going to have to walk all the way to her apartment, like a mile. I'm going to go bum/smoke me a cigarette and then I'll walk out there.

10:42pm  Justin was nice enough to give me a cigarette in front of Toby and Jack's. I appreciate it, Justin.

11:15pm  I'm at Kati's. We just walked up to her apartment. Kati had already been home, but she came back looking for me on her bike. How sweet of her. She walked her bike all the way with me. She told me she had seen Brian and he was all drunk. She said Brian had offered her five hundred dollars for an hour's worth of doing whatever he wants to her. She told him five hundred wasn't enough, hehe.
