9:58am We are walking to the bus stop in
front of the hotel we scored breakfast at that one morning. We're walking to the
bus stop. We still have until ten fifteen. Carol told me, "You wait here. I'm going to
get go get us some cinnamon rolls." She's going to walk in there and just take
food. That's awesome.
10:05am Score!
10:24am The bus came. We're on our way to
Turning Point.
12:07pm I walked my happy ass all the way
to Harbor and Sanjón. Flying my HOOK A BROTHER UP/SMOKE A BROTHER OUT sign along
with my WPTMJ. Hell yeah.
12:15pm I just got a two dollar donation,
awesome. They told me, "The other one is better. Hook a brother up." Not the
World Peace Through Marijuana one.
1:30pm I have to follow the signs. I was
having fun flying my signs out there. Hook a brother up. Smoke a brother out.
This carload of kids drove by and pulled up. Which sign did you guys see? Smoke
a brother out. I'm getting smoked out. We're driving around now. Driver: "Do a
lot of people pick you up?" Nah, you guys are the first.
2:23pm Edward, at the bus stop here at,
umm right in front of this cafe. He hooked me up with a cigarette. I appreciate
it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.
3:02pm The bus driver wouldn't give me a
courtesy ride. I always tell them that I'll walk it if I have to, so I did. I
walked to the Circle K. Somebody hooked me up with a little weed today, so I
figure I'll go and wait until someone cool walks up to the Circle K, offer to
smoke them out if they'll give me a ride. Sure enough, I called that shit. What
was your name, brother? Nick came out of the Circle K and I hit him up. He was
on his way to Market and Telephone where I needed to go. Fuck the bus driver.
See, I didn't have to walk that far after all. Thanks a lot, brother.
3:17pm Cual es el nombre de el restauran?
Las Sarnas Mexican Grill. El señor amable en Las Sarnas me esta dando gasolina
para mi estomago. Te lo agradezco, señor. Todo el mundo recibe credito, gracias.
5:56pm Carol: "Today we got up and went to
Turning Point and did laundry. I went to the Welfare Office. They told me that
they couldn't help me today. I told her, "I'm hungry so I'm going to go rob a
store and get some food." She told me I would go to jail. I told her, "Great,
then I'll have a warm place to sleep and three meals." She said, "Okay, we'll
get you in right now." I'm glad we came to the one here in Ventura and not the
Oxnard one I went to yesterday, where I spent four hours for them to tell me I
had to go to the Ventura one. So that really sucked. We went to the Ventura
one and got in and out. Victor came down from Turning Point and he did his
application. He's gotta go back tomorrow. He'll have food stamps tomorrow. I got
three hundred dollars in food stamps, because they took some away last month
from Humboldt. So, that's good. We're going to get Victor an ID. Other than that
everything's chill, chill, chill. Victor's standing on the corner spreading his
word. The bus just came by and all these people were looking at it and stuff. He
got some guestbook entries on his website from Bakersfield, which is pretty
cool."

I saw you today (12/4) on Truxtun Ave. in Bakersfield. I was in the white Toyota. I told you I would check out your site and I did. Interesting stuff, man. Keep on doing what you are doing. Your sign "world peace through marijuana" definately put a smile on my face. It is so simple, yet so true.
