Denver to Silverthorne to Glenwood Springs to Grand Junction, CO

     10:48am  Casey and I ended up crashing together. We tried sleeping under the staircase at the motel/bar across the street from the truckstop. We got kicked out so we walked outside to look for another place. By this lake, Casey noticed like an RV graveyard. She saw that most of them had the doors open. We jumped the fence and actually got to sleep on a mattress last night. It was so awesome I had a warm girl to sleep next to last night. We messed around a little.  We started doing it but I stopped real quick because I didn't have a condom.

     11:13am  We went to the truckstop and I got to tell my story to this dude. karlpfoul@msn.com

     12:38pm  I never told you, Casey and I went to the onramp to try and hitchhike. Some guy pulled over for us, Gary, and he was able to take to Morrison, not that far away. At the Conoco in Morrison the cool kid working hooked us up with hotdogs. He said he didn't mind if we asked for rides. Here we are still in Morrison.

     1:05pm  We started walking and in no time somebody pulled over for us. Sarah is being nice enough to give us a ride to Silverthorne.

     2:52pm  It's snowing in Silverthorne. I went in the bathroom at the gas station and layered up. Casey stood outside with a sign trying to get us a ride. I walked across the street to the gas station and asked this guy airing up his tires if he was going west on 70. He said yeah and he's giving us a ride. His name is Calvin.

     3:10pm  Calvin is pulling over at the rest stop at exit 190 to roll a blunt!

     3:42pm  This is so awesome. Calvin smoked us out. I do hereby believe I am over my Boulder funk. I am really happy right now. About Casey, she's my next blessing. Traveling partner. Right now I just realized what I should have told Carol, "I can only have temporary girlfriends on this mission." Anyway, I'm really happy and have accepted my whole depression in Boulder as something that happened for a reason. Because now I am in transit with a new partner. I need to give her that disclaimer I just thought of. Umm, no I don't, she's got shit to do in Telluride.

     4:23pm  We're in Glenwood Springs.

     5:01pm  Carmen Jarillo at Los Gilberto's is hooking me and Casey up with some food. In Glenwood Springs.

     5:29pm  Jerry in front of La Glorieta gave me two cigarettes.

     5:35pm  Anna Maria at La Glorieta is hooking Casey up with jalapeños and chips.

     5:56pm  Casey and I split up to ask for rides. In no time Casey got us one. Tom is being nice enough to mobilize us.

     7:10pm  We landed at the Acorn truckstop in Grand Junction.
