5:12am  Wow, last night was really cool!  I spent mostly all day adding my IRC chatlogs to my recent journaling.   Towards the end Tita asked me if we could watch a movie.  I said sure and went straight to my COMEDIANS section.  I impulsively clicked on Bill Murray and checked out his Tubi movies and read the description to Larger Than Life(1996) to Tita.  She agreed saying, "We'll give it ten minutes."

    The parallels to my life began almost immediately!  It starts out talking about an absent father: 

    Jack:  "My father died before I was born trying to save a child drowning in icy water, and it took me a long time to get over that.  

    Finally, I did.  Finally, I was able to get over it.  When I did, I found out a lot of things, about me that were neat, neat things that I wanted to share with other people, who maybe didn't know some neat things about themselves.  Now, I see some people out here looking just confused as hell."

    "We've got men and women working for the same cause and we have built something beautiful."

    "Whereas my first wife Gloria(Chasity) was a caretaker, co-dependent, complainer.  My fiancée Celeste(Tita) was a caring person, my co-equal and a celebrator.  I am graduating from my ABC's to D, E and F.  Deliberate, Eliminate, and Finish."

    "We've got three dates coming up.  We've got Modesto on the 18th."

    "They're not interested in your jokes."  "From your mouth to God's ears."  "If I do say I endorse this engagement fully.  Without family-obligations you are vulnerable to drift.."  "You are a romantic, I am going to drift(soar)."

"We regret to inform you of the death of your father. We have been placed in charge of his effects and rather large inheritance."  We are rich!  We strongly recommend you come to our offices as soon as possible."

    Jack: "I had a dad all of these years and I didn't know it and now that I know it, I don't have one!  Am I crazy?  Am I crazy?"

    Jack's mom:  "I left him, Jack!  I left him and I took you with me and I didn't tell him where we were going."    

    Jack:  "Did he beat you?"

    Jack's mom:  "No, he didn't beat me.

    Jack:  "Was he a criminal or something?"

    Jack's mom:  "No, he wasn't a criminal."

    Jack:  "Well, then tell me, mom(Mamada), what was he?"

    Jack's mom:  "HE WAS IRRESPONSIBLE!  HE WOULD'NT HOLD DOWN A JOB!  He kept moving us from one place to another.  I couldn't count on a man like that when I had a baby."

    Jack:  He was irresponsible so you killed him."

    Jack's mom:  "I couldn't have him influencing you!  Boys learn from their fathers!"

    Jack:  "I'll have to take your word on that."

    Jack's mom:  "Did I do something wrong?"

    Jack's wife:  "Let him walk it off."

    I don't want to spoil the flick for you, but Jack inherits a big ELEPHANT!  Guess what the elephant's name is.  VERA!  

    Just like My-Tita's LAST NAME!  Synchronicities galore!
