Great
Victor....vary glad things are going OK for you where your at. If it
where not for your adventurous spirit you would not have found the right
place that resonates with your own vibration!
What can you tell me about your sisters? How are they and your mother doing. Tried emailing Laura but it bounced back. Tell Diana to write me, if she has time. These do seem to be like the last days. Here its a struggle as usual but have my rent and food on the table and your two small brothers making headway in school. There usually isnt much left after a weeks work, but I have a life time guaranteed job. Medicinal plants all over the place and also sick people. Recently more and more people gravitating my way so things may improve some what. The herbal revolution is catching on world wide.
Keep up the good work, God Bless Frank

Hi
Frank. Well, it's due time I give you an update on me. Last I wrote
you I was in Florida living in a friend's backyard. I miss that yard.
After about two days after I got that 10x8 two room tent I scored a
better one on craigslist.com, here's a picture:
http://s2.hubimg.com/u/6170377_f120.jpg. It's a 10 PERSON, 12x16 ft,
7.2ft ceiling..it's even got two closets. Anyway, my backyard adventure
evolved beautifully and I had a blast.
The bank was about to take the house I was at and I ended up not getting that job with the moving company. For some reason my background check came up questionable. I was talking to this 62 year old lady friend I had made back in 2007 who lived in northern california, town of montague, with beautiful mt shasta in the background. So around my birthday I rode the greyhound five days straight from coast to coast. I was sure to bring my 10 person tent with me under the bus.
My lady friend went crazy and I decided to leave her house. I was bummed out and ready to give up on the west coast and head back to San Antonio. I even called Ada and she and my sisters were going to pay for my bus ticket back home. I loaded up all my gear and rode the bus to the greyhound station in the town of Weed, that's right Weed.
I still had three hours left until the bus came and I'd be headed back to Texas. I held off on buying the ticket, thinking maybe something would keep me here. I went looking for a store so I could buy some cigarettes. I walked a couple miles and gave up and walked back to the greyhound station. Right in front of the greyhound station I saw this girl getting into her car. I walked up and asked her if there was a store nearby. Surprisingly she said, "Yeah, want a ride?" On the way to the store she told me to go knock on the door of the house she had been parked in front of, that they were traveler-friendly.
So after I walked back from the store I went to the house she was talking about, right in front of the bus station. It was a nice white two story house with Buddhist prayer flags hanging in front. Hippies. They welcomed me there beautifully. I volunteered my free maid services and they were happy to let me crash in their basement for three weeks until March 1st when I got my crazy check. I cleaned like crazy and contributed as much as I could, as usual. So all because I held off on buying the bus ticket and went looking for a store, bam, just like that I now live in Weed, California! How fitting, eh? Of all places.
My luck improved even more. I am renting a studio on top of a historic saloon that used to be a whore house back in the prohibition days. Rent is a measly $275 a month, free utilities, free internet. Also living in California now my check is going up(due to the standard of living). Back in TX I used to get $460 a month. Here in California it's $875! With rent under three hundred bucks that leaves a lot left over.
I'm sorry, but I don't think we(in general) have much time left and traveling to an alien land to try and start a new life when there's so little time left....it just doesn't seem practical. Therefore I am going to stay in Weed, California and just try and be happy and help people. I frequently volunteer at the community center here...or pick up random paid labor jobs here and there. I'm already getting paid, might as well be doing something constructive and beneficial.
Best wishes,
- Victor

Hello
Victor, how you fairing this recession? Like many indians of the world
you prepared and hardened yourself. When the great cities are in ruins
the indians will survive hunting and gathering as they always have?
Looks that way here. Best regards to your mother and sisters. Frank
