[14:46.59] <seeker> let's go! turtle power! 🐢
[16:55.02] <levity> can i interest you in another good read?
[16:55.48] <levity> just finished copying from a book. lemme format it
[17:19.23] <seeker> you bet :)
[17:24.10] <levity> another one of titas books
[17:24.18] <levity> typed up chapter 1
[17:24.24] <levity> +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/getinginthegap.html,
[17:25.23] <seeker> your URL is missing a T in getting fyi
[17:26.02] <levity> yeah, i tried changing it, its got both t's in the title
[17:26.13] <levity> but i guess it didnt take
[17:26.28] <seeker> wow the quote that starts it
[17:26.30] <levity> i guess i could just copy the text and remake it
[17:26.39] <seeker> ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
[17:27.07] <seeker> hey, it's about the message, not being a highfalutin good speller!
[17:27.38] <seeker> I think dayleethawts would protest :P
[17:27.57] <levity> there :P
[17:28.00] <levity> +https://laughdispenser.blogspot.com/p/gettinginthegap.html,
[17:28.51] <seeker> getting in the gap sounds like a euphemism for sex
[17:29.16] <levity> right! when tita showed it to me i was all, "I'll get in your gap."
[17:29.20] <levity> i swear!
[17:32.52] <seeker> hehe
[18:25.46] <seeker> that was good! checks out with my meditation experiences
[18:38.25] <levity> back before i met tita, in mount shasta, i voluntarily quit smoking weed for a whole two and a half months.
[18:38.42] <levity> i told myself i wanted to learn how to meditate
[18:38.56] <levity> and i figured i would require focus
[18:39.04] <levity> which i dont think i have stoned
[18:39.13] <levity> i wanted to hear shit in my head, and get visions and shit
[18:39.13] <seeker> similar to the reason I wanna get off caffeine
[18:39.41] <levity> i rarely remember dreams
[18:40.02] <levity> but soon after i stopped getting high i started having them again
[18:40.14] <levity> and i got real depressed
[18:41.07] <levity> "Marijuana is self-punishing. It makes you acutely sensitive, and in this world, what worse punishment could there be?"
[18:41.13] <levity> - P. J. O'Rourke
[18:41.28] <seeker> lol, insightful
[18:41.42] <seeker> things are easier once you're desensitized
[18:41.43] <levity> so havent done much meditation
[18:42.09] <seeker> I actually find that CBD oil helps with meditation in my case, dunno how different it is from marijuana, though
[18:42.19] <levity> but i do a hell of a lot of fixated obsessing :P
[18:43.40] <seeker> I finished watching the first season of 3 Body Problem the other day
[18:43.50] <levity> so i never got the great meditation experience that so many hippiecrites in mount shasta say they go through
[18:44.01] <levity> was it good?
[18:44.20] <seeker> very
[18:44.33] <seeker> I noticed something interesting that I liked
[18:44.43] <levity> i got unthrottled, continuing to add my gulag logs
[18:45.24] <seeker> the authority in the series is the UN
[18:45.32] <levity> okay
[18:45.47] <seeker> no nation state's government makes any appearance
[18:46.11] <levity> one world govt hinting
[18:46.38] <seeker> or conditioning the public on how to think about the UN, something like that :P
[18:46.59] <levity> they don't call it proramming for nuthin'
[18:47.05] <seeker> I hope I get to go there someday
[18:47.23] <levity> where?
[18:47.33] <seeker> the headquarters are in NYC :D
[18:47.35] <seeker> the UN
[18:47.50] <levity> ahh, yeah, you're from that area
[18:48.08] <seeker> I spent my childhood in CT, yeah

[18:49.24] <levity> why arkansas?
[18:49.41] <seeker> my mom's family is all from the area I'm in
[18:49.54] <seeker> my dad is from lynwood, actually
[18:49.57] <seeker> so I've been to CA quite a bit
[18:50.01] <levity> no place like home
