 Telluride to Sawpit to Placerville to Ridgway to Montrose to Delta, CO

     11:40am  Last night I ended up walking all the way to the igloo. Casey wasn't there. Let's see, last night I went back to the hippie house on Spruce. This Hubert guy and his friend were there watching a movie. It finished right after I got there, so I approached them with my story. Hubert interrupted a lot at first, but then I had him listening intently. He was nodding his head up and down at every point I made. At first he was all, "You can't overthrow the government." I got to Arcata in my Odyssey then all these people came over and Hubert told me he wanted to hear the rest of it later. I asked him, "So do you think my story will sell? Even though I'm going to give it away?" He changed his tune and said yes. He also thanked me. So, I've gotten through to two people in this house now. Right now, I'm taking a shit in their bathroom. I came over here to reclaim my blue blanket I left here.

     1:04pm  I am still chilling at the house. Hubert that I talked to last night, I asked him what his ethnicity was and he said he was Mixican. Anyway, he smoked me out. I called one of the numbers I got from the Ride Board, William about my ride to Denver on Tuesday. He asked me if I was able to help with gas. I told him, "I don't have any money, but I can get spare change at the gas stations." Shocked, he said, "You mean panhandle?" I can assume this guy is a brainwashed Babylonian. He said, "Well, if you're broke then I'll just give you a ride." He told me to meet him at Restore Our World at eight in the morning. I wonder if he'll show up. Oh yeah, I totally forgot to mention, the ride I got from the igloo this morning took me to Mountain Village and I was able to ride the gondola all the way to Telluride. Man, what a majestic sight these mountains are. I wish I had a camera so bad. I am sure there's plenty of pictures of Telluride on the web. Look it up.

                   I think I have decided to skip town. I have nothing to do. The library is closed for New Years.

     2:13pm  James is being nice enough to give me a ride to the Conoco.

     3:09pm  From the intersection by the Conoco, Glenn Pihl(glennpihl@yahoo.com) gave me a ride to Sawpit.

     3:25pm  Chris picked me up in Placerville.

     3:52pm  I am already in Ridgway. I'm going to go see if that girl Erin is at her house with the cross.

                   She's out of town. I'm going to go back to the gas station.

     4:47pm  Judy and Butch are giving me a ride to Montrose.

     6:28pm  Let's see, they dropped me off at the Q&T gas station. I tried telling this kid inside my story. He hooked me up with a pack of cigarettes. I walked all the way to the Shell truckstop.

     6:34pm  Don at the Shell hooked me up with a hotdog.

     6:43pm  Antonio is giving me a ride to Delta. I'm really glad I know Spanish.

     7:06pm  Just got dropped off in Delta.

     7:21pm  I walked to the gas station of the City Market, then I had to take a shit real bad because I ate that hotdog. I came to the KFC/A&W across the street and I'm sitting here taking a healthy shit.
