11:00am The next day. I just realized that I got to the end of the Side A. I didn't leave that much stuff out. Last night I worked, came home and went to sleep. Sam woke me up this morning. He went to go get his check. When he came back, he invited me to go grocery shopping. He also said he wants to treat me to some Indian buffet. So, I won't be hungry. Sweet.
11:42am We just finished eating at Simi's Indian Restaurant down on Fredericksburg, close to Crossroads. I am breaking my fast of cigarettes for my after-meal smoke. That's the only one I'm going to smoke today. Just watch.
12:22pm I am walking to the bus stop. I'm going to go to work.
12:39pm I'm at the hospital. I'm going to hopefully catch the 91 soon.
1:05pm Man, work really sucks. I'm still waiting for the 91 here at the hospital. Work sucks. Any work does, man. Any work that you don't want to be doing. I am used to being so free. All this time I have been free to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted to. Now I have a schedule to stay on. I have to be on time for work. I have to know my product-knowledge. It's all this shit that I have no need for. It's a big waste of time for me.
I still realize that I have to get some stuff done here in San Antonio. I have much work to do. I have to go to the dentist and get my cavities fixed, you know. I have to save up for some supplies. I need a digital camera. Then I have to get out of town. This West bullshit is going to kick my ass. It's much more complicated than it's worth. I don't want to put that big of an effort into it. Ugh, god-damnit. I hate Babylon. I wish I could be free again.
1:17pm There's the 91, at long-last. It's late. It should have been here at 1:03.
1:42pm At work I ran into Melissa and Ernest. Ernest is going to smoke me out again! Cool.
I recorded like fifteen minutes worth of our trainer, I think her name is Jennifer Huston, explaining our project to us. I really, really like Jennifer. She doesn't belong in this business. She's a real bright girl. Anyway, I wanted to get a good phone call recorded and come up with a master script to use. I recorded Melissa's call.
Melissa: "Do you, by any chance have a pen and paper handy? Because you're going to need it in a few minutes. Have you ever had an account with us before, sir? What is your ISP? AOL, Okay, great. May I have your first name, please? Victor. V-i-c-t-o-r. Do you have a middle initial? A as in apple? Your last name? G-r-u-b-e-r? You are in the United States, is that correct? Can I have your address? I need your home phone number, area code first, please. Do you have an email address? rightprotect@hotmail.com.
Do you know what system your computer is operating on? Windows 2000? Great. That's an excellent one. It's the same thing I use.
Ok sir, we are setting you up today with a dialup account. One moment, please."
10:54pm Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. Ernest gave me a ride home. He's treating me to some Wendy's. I appreciate it, brother. I'm hungry.
12:12pm Sam is just telling me something he read on the Internet. He said that there is no historical evidence of Jesus. There are all kinds of hints. I think he existed.
