6:48am I haven't made an update yet. I woke almost at six. I went to bed around nine, so I got plenty of sleep. I'm going to go see if I can fill up my bag with ice at the Chevron by the shelter.
7:39am I just walked Broad Street all the way downtown. The bus was going to be like an hour to come by the shelter, so I just walked it. I'm going to chill out downtown for a little bit and wait a little closer to eight thirty so I can start heading out to Prado. I still can't believe this place is open seven days a week. They only close on Christmas, I was told.
7:59am Larry, aka Yoda hooked me up with a menthol at the bus stop. I appreciate it, brother. May the force be with you.
9:17am I've had a confusing Saturday morning so far. I got on the wrong bus. I walked all the way to the transfer center from the shelter and I ended up getting on the bus going out to the shelter. I was all stoned. I'm back at the day center now. I'm going to get back to naming pictures.
2:00pm The nice driver is giving me a courtesy ride into town. I couldn't get any more bus tokens. I need to go to the library and read one of my HTML files to get the link to add pictures. You know, the <a href> shit.
2:19pm It was Leanne, the nice driver who gave me a courtesy ride. I appreciate it, Leanne. Everybody gets credit, thanks.
2:20pm I just got off the bus over by the library downtown. Leanne was a really nice driver. Everytime she applied the brakes on the bus she would say, "Hold on, please," into the intercom. That's very considerate of you.
I'm going to go to the library and check my email now. Oh yeah, I can get some printouts. I found a quarter on the ground earlier.
3:22pm I'm standing here on Higuera and this dude crossed the street and walked up to me, obviously recognizing me. I thought he might have seen me the other day, but he turns out telling me it was from a long time ago. We're trying to figure out where. Northern California, we were at a fire pit, the Aussie guy, long goatee.
3:44pm Whoa, that Aussie guy totally recognized me from we don't know. He told me, "Do you need a place to crash or anything? You can come over to the house. We have a guesthouse and everything." Sweet. I told him I would be on Higuera for a while and he said he would be back in an hour.
3:52pm I'm free hugging it. I love giving free hugs.
3:55pm Santa me ofrecio un dinero. Le di un abraso gratis. Muchisimas gracias, Santa. Todo el mundo recibe credito, gracias.
4:18pm I just had an awesome presentation with Tony, I took his picture. He gave me a free hug. I told him my story and the important part. Note from the rich and everything. He cracked up. Right before this nice Mexican lady gave me a hug and then asked me if I accepted donations. I spoke Spanish with her. "Naci en Puerto Rico. Boricua de pura cepa."
4:20pm I'm sporting my clown wig. I've been standing in front of this lingerie shop on Higuera. I'll probably be complained on to the cops. I've got my wig on and I'm free hugging. They don't have shit on me.
4:38pm John and Chris just gave me their leftovers. Some pizza. I appreciate it, guys. Thanks for feeding the peace machine.
I stopped free hugging it. That guy never came back, it's been more than an hour. I'm going to walk all the way to the shelter.
6:11pm I just walked all the way to the shelter from downtown.
7:38pm I am all settled in at the shelter. I took a resin hit outside. That money the Mexican lady gave me was exactly enough for a pouch of Buglers. Now I can stop bumming off of people. I've been doing that for like three or four days. I'm kind of tired. I'm going to read my book. I am already on the second reading of Into Thin Air. I'm going to read it until I fall asleep. I already brushed my teeth.
