Sunday March 15, 2009

8:06am  I just woke up again. Sarah is not here. I'm hungry.

10:20am  It's about time I made an update. I left the house. I had an alright morning. Sarah was gone. I thought she'd be home because it's Sunday. She probably had to go to work. Oh yeah! When I was walking back to the house, around the corner on San Salvador there's an orange tree! That's all I've eaten today. I am totally done with proofreading. I need to go back to San Luis Obispo and go to Cal-Poly and make my update there. I am walking to the MLK library right now. I formatted the computer and reinstalled Windows XP, but the resolution is stuck real low. I need to get online and download some display drivers. It's a Dell computer and it has a service tag, so I should be able to find the drivers easily. So that's a project for today. Then I'll go to Saint Joseph's to get food. I am way too late for breakfast at First Christian Church.

10:48am  I walked to the Saint James Park hoping there would be someone giving free food, but I don't think there is. There's a church across the street. I thought maybe they might let me use the restroom, but they told me no. I have to pay to use the restroom downtown. They have pay toilets. Also, I walked by this old antique building that seemed a bit Masonic. It says it's the San Jose Athletic club, but after closer inspection I found it was an old Scottish Rite temple. It has a
sphinx statue with the face of a white man. I took picturesKnight Mural

Fernando Paredes was nice enough to volunteer me some breakfast. I appreciate it, bro. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

I needed to find someplace to take a leak. I saw Tico's Tacos, where I scored the other day. I went inside and waited to ask if I could use the restroom. Some other customer sees my shirt and compliments it. I used the restroom and when I went back out I went to the guy who complimented my shirt, who was sitting with his wife. I volunteered him my website then told him, "Don't suppose you could order me a taco for the cause?" He promptly gave me three dollars. I went up to the counter and told the girl to give me a three dollar surprise.

11:35am  I had a relaxing after-meal smoke plus marijuana sitting on this chair next to this couch on the sidewalk.

I am simply reminding people of something they already know. Knowledge they were born with but have been led to forget and disregard.

12:07pm  Dee hooked me up with some leftovers for world peace. I appreciate it, Dee. Thanks for feeding the peace machine.

It was cool, I had seen some girl and guy waiting for the light to change to cross the street. I noticed the girl had some leftovers. I was standing at my post by the newspaper machines right in front of the MLK library entrance. Look up. I was hoping the leftovers in question would gravitate my way. Just my luck, when they walked by I hit the girl up. She went sure, and handed me the to-go box. Her boyfriend noticed and got mad at told her, "Don't be giving away my food!" She told him, "It wasn't yours." After she hooked me up I asked her if I could tell her what I was doing and she said sure. I started my shpeel and her boyfriend walked off right off the bat. I told the girl not to worry about it, to just check out my website when she got the chance. She totally wanted to stay and listen, but her ignorant boyfriend pressured her. I really appreciate it, Dee. I need to figure out a way to contain the food better so I can take it with me.

I just had an awesome presentation with these two kids walking by. They didn't let me take a picture, but they were reacting great at my stuff.

12:58pm  I am back at Sarah's house. I was able to download the drivers for Sarah's computer. It was easy with the service tag.  "My room"
