Sunday March 20, 2005

8:05am  I had a badass time last night. I ended up at that party full of highschool kids. They have a house out here in the Great Northwest. That's where I crashed last night. It was badass. They were rolling lots of joints. They had weed. Oh yeah, I got me a nickel sack finally. Thanks, mom. So many people listened to me last night. They all know about me. This one kid who doubted me from the beginning ended up telling me, "Good luck, good luck."

Oh yeah, and I got new batteries for my recorder.

This house is on Cliff Valley. Let me get the address. 5907 or the one next to it. I don't know. Timber Path and Cliff Valley. In front of Lloyd M. Knowlton Elementary School.

8:22am  I am walking down Les Harrison. I saw a Marlboro 27 snipe a minute ago. I bent down to pick it up. I saw it was an evil 27. I put it back down. I walked a little more and I found a brand new Marlboro Light on the ground. Hmmm, I picked it up. Argh, I figured it was a test. I just threw it back down. I can't smoke.

                   Cigarettes, at least.

I ended up on Weybridge. If I keep going I'll hit Bowen. I'm crossing in front of this elementary school here. There's a trail to the woods. I'm going to hit that trail and see where I end up. W.Z. Doc Burke Elementary School. I'm going to walk in these woods right here.

I found another fossil in the creek bed. It kind of looks like a petrified cinnamon roll. I wound up on some cool creek bed. New woods for me.

I had been walking in the creek and thought to myself, "It would be cool if I found another fossil." I sure enough did.

Cool, I ended up on a different creek. I don't know if I should walk it though. It will probably turn into the one I was on earlier. I should probably get home already. I called my mom last night from some kid's cellphone. She was all pissed off that I didn't do the dishes. Screw that, she only gave me five dollars. I cleaned up so much more than five dollars worth. She's going to have to wait a day for the dishes to get done. That's worth five dollars. I'm heading back there, so she won't bitch. Maybe she'll give me some more money. I have a lot of weed. I have weed to smoke people out with, perfect.

This is so awesome. I love exploring new woods. New trails. I've never been on them. I don't see any footprints out here. These are deer trails.

Cool, I found a ditch that goes up to a neighborhood. I'm going to go up it. It looks strangely familiar, though. I think it comes up close to Bowen's. On that Candle Bend street. I was just randomly cutting through the woods and hiking the creek and I ended up here again. I could've decided any of that walk differently, but I ended up right where I had been before. I'm going to walk down Bowen's. I'm not too far from my mom's house.

I came up on Candle Bend. I've been here before.

9:14am  I just randomly popped out of the woods in the same place I came out last time. From next to Knowlton Elementary I was just wandering around in the woods. I ended up right there where Bowen ends, at Candle Bend. I walked by and, umm, remember how I told you how Keith's girlfriend had gotten all mad at me for nothing yesterday(3-1-05, 6:24pm)? She had told me never to come by. I walked by and I didn't even notice it was her and gave her a peace sign, like I do to everybody else. I walked down the street a little bit more and Keith pulled over and told me, "Hey, I'm going to the EZ Mart to buy a blunt. Want to come back and smoke?" Now I am riding with Keith and we're going to go back and smoke a blunt.

10:12am  That kid who stopped by yesterday in the white truck and let me his that blunt(3-19-05, 3:25pm). He just drove by and apologized. He told me he was sorry he didn't come back with weed yesterday. I told him it was alright, that I found it anyway. Yesterday I had a blast. It was action-packed. I even got the called cops on me. Hehe, you know what I mean.

10:21am  I just passed a car, I'm walking down Bowens. P18-CLF. It's got a Redefeat Bush sticker. Another one that says Make Peace and yet another one that says Wage Slave. I am tempted to go knock on the door of the house and ask them, "Who's the owner of that car? I have a story for them." Nah, I gotta get to my mom's house and do some cleaning.

10:42am  I am at my mom's house. I was giving everyone the peace sign on the way over here(like I always do). Everyone was waving back. Great publicity. I am getting known.

Oh yeah, and earlier when I called my mom this morning from Keith's house, I didn't get a hold of her when I was at the party last night, she told me all mad, "Where were you!?" I told her, "Don't worry, mom. I found a place to crash last night. I'll be home before your meeting tonight to clean, trust me." She had told me, "I left you some presents on the table." I came home to find five small boxes of Peanut Butter Toast Crunch from the dollar store that I love. She bought me all this bar-soap, which she hates. She bought me two packs of Double A batteries, which I really needed, and she got me a pair of gloves so I can start on the backyard. Thanks, mom. I love you. She even left me a piece of cake.

5:32pm  I just woke up from my nap about five minutes ago.

6:35pm  I walked Bowen all the way to Hill Trails. I'm going to walk around and check out this part of the neighborhood again.

6:57pm  I wandered up and down the streets of this neighborhood. I couldn't find anybody to smoke out. I'm going to walk to the EZ Mart and just take a hit of weed. I'm not going to smoke a cigarette. I won't bum one. I'm going to stop.

7:05pm  I just finished smoking weed in front of the Citgo. I'm going to walk back home. It's rad, I got all these tools from my mom's boyfriend Gus. I got a hoe, a pick and my mom bought me all these seeds. I'm going to start my garden tomorrow.

7:10pm  I just took some random turn in the neighborhood and went down Ardash. I ended up on Gallery Ridge. All these people are looking at me. Great publicity.

I ended up on Traywood and Windbridge. Never been around here before.

7:28pm  I had a, umm, kind of good presentation. This one ignorant dude. Hehe, I was just walking down the street and I saw these two people standing there. This guy and a black girl. I got into it and the guy all told me, "Tell me something I don't know." I told him, "I would, if you would listen to me." He got all uppity and I just walked off telling him, "Thanks for making my story so interesting." The girl who was with him said, "I would have to agree with you that ignorance is the worst problem."

Oh yeah and the guy had told me, "Yeah, I've seen you walking around."

7:37pm  I walked Alderwood all the way to Valley Trails. Turning right.

                   Turning left on Dover Ridge.

7:49pm  I'm almost to Tezel. I was walking and I stopped to take a drink of water. All of a sudden, this black dude comes out to smoke a cigarette. I hit him up for my story and asked him if he would listen. He said, "Nah, I just came out to smoke a cigarette." I asked him to do me the couple favors, which I forgot to do last time with that couple. I'm almost to Tezel now. I'm going to walk to the Walgreen's and see if I can tell somebody my story.

I walked Tezel all the way to Silent Oaks. I'm going to go to the Papa John's and hit them up for any mistakes.

Ha, the manager almost yelled, "No we don't!" Greedy ass.

8:15pm  I came down to the Citgo down Tezel. I'm going to walk by and look inside and see if the person looks cool enough to listen to my story.

8:29pm  Haha, I had a good presentation with the cashier inside. Some Middle Eastern guy. Right when I hit him up for my story and started talking to him, he tells me, "Yeah, I remember you from eight months ago. You came in with some guy." I told him, "Umm, I don't remember that. I can look it up maybe." He said I came in with some bald guy around 8:30 or nine. I told him he had an excellent memory. I tried looking it up, but couldn't find a mention of it. He ended up not listening to me. I got a lot of stuff out. He even told me, "Yes, I know you are a good guy." I'm going to keep walking now. I'm going to walk all night.

8:37pm  I just crossed Timber Path.

8:45pm  They told me no at Las Palapas. Greedy asses.

8:47pm  Turning right on Culebra. I'm going to go hit up the Dominos for mistakes.

8:50pm  Vanessa, the manager here at Dominos is hooking me up with a pizza! I appreciate it, Vanessa. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

9:17pm  I just left Dominos. I had a good little presentation there. I even showed them my picture of Cujo.

10:00pm  I walked down Culebra some more. Right as I pass this Kimberly Nails, I see this car parked with all these people outside. I went and hit them up for my story. These two kids listened to me. Aaron and Israel. How old are you guys? Seventeen and fifteen. Thanks for listening, guys.

That was an awesome presentation I just had. Those kids listened to every single word I said. I told them my whole odyssey story. Their parents were outside talking in front of their cars. I thought, "Hmm, let me go see if I can get an audience." They were all interested.

10:08pm  I just passed Les Harrison.

10:33pm  I just walked all the way to 1604. I'm going to get on Leslie Road. I'll go by the Walmart.

I kept going straight on Culebra. I didn't turn on 1604. I'm going to go to the next light and turn right. Right after the Sonic.

They've raped this intersection hardcore. There's an HEB, a Jim's, Walmart. It's all the same.

Hmm, I'm playing around with the idea of walking to Castroville pretty soon in the near future. It is only twenty four miles away.

10:40pm  Ashley hooked me up with a cigarette at the Walmart. I appreciate it, Ashley. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

10:45pm  I had a good presentation with Ashley at the smoking cabana at Walmart. ekstaticmonkey@aol.com

10:47pm  I had an awesome presentation with that girl Ashley! When I had first walked up I saw her sitting there. I didn't want to smoke a cigarette. I had just gone to the Walmart to play some videogames for free. I bummed a cigarette off her, logged her generosity and then handed it back to her. I told her, "I just quit smoking cigarettes. I was just testing you. You passed. Can I tell you what I'm doing?" This pretty girl listened to me wide-eyed. Now I'm going to take a hit of weed and go play videogames.

11:10pm  I'm leaving the Walmart. I went inside and took a shit. I tagged the bathroom with Victor the Liberator. I got my marker. Oh yeah, and I took a shit and the toilet wouldn't flush, haha.

Walking past a Clear Channel billboard that says, "The longest journey begins with one small step. Achievement, pass it on. The foundation for a better life." I don't think that's an advertisement for anything.

11:39pm  Walking in front of Fertile Garden Supply. They've got sand, compost, soils, rock, mulch.

I wonder what 8531 Leslie Road is. It looks like some government building or something. There's no sign or anything.

11:55pm  I'm walking in front of the Wild Animal Orphanage. Still on Leslie Road.

12:00am  Walking in front of the big cemetery they've got here. I'm giving the peace sign to all of the graves. Rest in peace.

                     Just passed a Wurzbach grave.

12:05am  Coming up on Braun Road. Turning right.

12:10am  I forgot to tell you. I'm at the Shell station. I'm going to sit down and smoke some weed. I haven't smoked a cigarette all day. I am proud of myself.

12:15am  I'm taking off from the Shell. I took a hit of weed and I'm off now. I walked a shitload tonight. Around seven I started walking. I walked for like five hours or so. Around fifteen miles. Remember I said I was going to walk all night.

Oh yeah, the guy at the Citgo earlier had told me, "Yeah, I saw you eight months ago. You were wearing that same hat."

12:40am  I am back at my mom's house.

I don't know what time it is, but I'm going to bed. It's like two or something. I don't know.

Next day..
