12:54am  I got home earlier. I walked all the way home. I didn't know where I was and all of a sudden, hey, I'm here. I checked my email last night when I got home and I had a great surprise in my email. I had an email from KBOO!

Subject:Interview with KBOO
Hey man,
You don't know me, but I've seen you signing on the street around 39th and Glisan.  Maybe you remember?  I was driving a green beetle, flashed you a peace sign.  I hear you record everything that happens to you, and perhaps you made a note of it.  Anyway, I went to your website and poked around, and I'm really interested in your project.  I produce content for a KBOO community radio show and I'd be really interested in doing some interviews with you.  The show's called Synesthesia; we do stories, interviews, music, everything.  There's another show in a couple of weeks and I think it would be really cool if I could get you invovled somehow.  I'm thinking either a panel discussion around some local/political issue or more likely, a simple interview with you about your live and your project.  If you're interested, you should get back to me at this e-mail address and we can work out a place to meet.

peace,

Scott

The subject read: Interview with KBOO. I have to show you guys the emails. And then, after that, I get an email from some guy I had talked to the day before saying I might be getting a ride back to San Antonio soon. Well, close to San Antonio. Back East. Benito Mussolini emailed me.

I'm going to take a shower. In my clean bathroom.

4:00pm  This morning I woke up around nine. I got some good sleep. This morning I was on the computer a long time. I'll show you the emails. Things are happening. I am considering maybe not doing this interview with KBOO. All I have to say is already being said on my webpage exactly how I want to say it. Umm, just plug my page. Anyway, I have that free Ice Cube movie to go to tonight. It starts at seven, but they recommend you get there two hours early. I'm walking to the Walgreen's down 33rd to buy a pack of cigarettes for Robin. He said he'd hook me up with some money. A little allowance for cleaning, I guess. Everything is cool.

4:19pm  Almost time to celebrate. I just got off the 72. I'm going to go to this free movie.

5:28pm  I got to the movie theaters and went to the Jack in the Box. I bought a couple burgers. I'm full now. Hmm, I have to free movie tickets. I'm going to go look around for a pretty girl to tell my story to. Then I'll ask her to go to the movie with me. Even if she's ugly, hehe.

5:47pm  I just talked to Jenny, this pretty girl. I asked her if she wanted to go to the movie with me, but she said no. She had to go.

6:06pm  To kill time for the movie to start I flew my sign on 82nd. Right now this guy just yelled, "Get a job!" I yelled back, "This is my job!"

6:52pm  I came to the Eastmark movie theaters. I couldn't find anybody to go with me, so I'm going alone. If it's stupid I'm just going to walk out in the middle of it and go fly my sign some more. I flew my sign while I waited for the movie.

7:28pm  Walked out of the movie. It was shitty. I'm glad I didn't pay for it(like I ever do, haha).

7:54pm  Got on the 72 bus. The driver didn't notice that my transfer was expired. Then I realized I had dropped my sign somewhere. I doubled back where I walked from the movie theater and I found it in the parking lot. It slipped out from under my arm while I was walking. I was getting close to Powell when I noticed. I got off on Powell and walked all the way back to look for my sign. Now I'm going to walk back to Powell and fly my sign a little bit, then go home.

9:02pm  Todd is hooking me up with a pizza at the Pizza Hut right next to the 7-11, on Powell and 82nd. They also leant me scissors earlier so I could cut the two sheets of paper I bummed off the check cashing place. I sat down at a table inside the check cashing place and wrote out another pocketful of flyers. I've been passing them out like hotcakes.

Let's see, I walked to Powell and flew my sign for maybe about five minutes. I said screw it, it's dark, there aren't any cars anywhere. I went in the check cashing place and saw they had a little table. Cool. I asked them if they could spare a couple sheets of paper, then I went to the Pizza Hut next door and they let me borrow scissors. I sat down at the check cashing place for like half an hour or forty five minutes writing out havethisbook.com on all these little sheets of papers. When I was done I returned the scissors to the Pizza Hut and asked them, "Hey, do you guys have any mistakes you could hook me up with?" I just scored me a whole pineapple pizza. Hell yeah! I'm going to take that home and share it with my roommates, hehe.

This guy at the 7-11 hooked me up with a cigarette. I didn't get his name.

Next day..
