1:09pm I didn't tell you. Last night Cody and Eric and I went dumpster diving. We found like six or seven rolls of jumbosize toilet paper. Those big spools of toilet paper. Brand new still wrapped. We won't have to worry about toilet paper for a while. Oh yeah, I was supposed to meet this dude Chris, Kalkor from the weed channel on IRC, #weed. I was supposed to go up there early and help him dig a hole. Last night these kids at the house were blasting the radio and woke me up. I got smoked out though. I went to bed like at three. I woke up at seven thinking I'd go help Chris, but I was beat. I just went back to sleep. I woke up at twelve twenty four and called Chris. He told me he was already working. I told him I was on my way and that I would get there when I got there. Right now I hit up Robin, Mister Moneybags for two bucks for the bus. He told me to go buy cigarettes and beer for him. So that's what I'm going to do and then I'll go back to the house.
I walked to the bus stop in front of Hot Lips Pizza. I'm going to wait for the bus, the 72.
1:33pm Cool, the bus driver gave me a courtesy ride on the 72.
2:10pm I got off on Powell. The bus was all packed. I've got about a mile to walk to Woodstock, to Chris'. I've got the directions in my wallet. It's on 82nd Street.
2:34pm I walked by that thrift store I went to when I first got to Portland. I scored me some glasses, hell yeah. I stole them. They're in my pocket, hehe.
2:52pm I finally found Chris' house. Chris' brother's. They're working in the garden out back. What was your name? His wife Emma. She's from England. Cool.
4:45pm Me and Chris are out here working in the garden. What did you say this is called? What are we doing right now? Chris: "Double digging. Because we take the topsoil off, then we loosen up the pan and put the subsoil underneath that. So the topsoil's here and I'm excavating the topsoil off, then I'm going to get down, straight down through the pan, you can do this with a pick-axe." What did you say this was called? Jeavons. I'll look that up for sure, cool.
6:16pm Man, I had such a great day today working in the garden. I helped a lot. I busted my ass in Chris' garden. Now we're going to go in the hot tub, as a reward. Hell yeah, I'd help with the garden anyway. I had noting better to do.
Be sure to look up Heyoka. Speaker of Visions.
8:22pm I am walking with Chris and Emma. Chris told me that there was something in town called Free Geek. Helping the needy get nerdy. Whoa, he told me if I go down there and volunteer for twenty four hours, that they'll give me a computer. Umm, I need a laptop really really bad.
Oh yeah, I took a shower at Chris' brother's and I weighed myself on the scale. I weigh a hundred and fifty pounds! Oh my god. I can't believe that. Talk about streamlining. I'm really traveling light. Awesome.
9:08pm I walked to what's the intersection here? 52nd and Steele and Jerry hooked me up with a transfer. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.
9:09pm I have to follow the signs. Right now I just walked to this corner and this guy standing there told me, "Hey man, if you don't want to walk, here's a tranfer." Oh, I'm going to ride the bus then. Cool. I was going to walk all the way to Alberta and 33rd, but oh well. Guess not. I have to follow the signs. Maybe there's somebody on the bus that needs to hear my story tonight.
9:19pm Philip, at what store is this? Couldn't understand the name on the recording. He hooked me up with a cigarette. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.
9:26pm Here comes the bus. I'm going to ask for a courtesy ride, hehe. Psyche!
That wasn't the bus. I was wrong.
9:35pm Joe is being nice enough to give me a courtesy ride on the 71. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks. I was just testing you, brother. You passed.
10:05pm Crystal hooked me up with a cigarette at the 7-11 on Sandy and 82nd. I appreciate it, Crystal. Everybody gets credit, thanks.
10:40pm Just got off the bus at 33rd. I'm going to go to the Subway and buy a sandwich. I've got five bucks.
Damnit, they're closed. I wonder if the taqueria on Alberta is open.
