10:11am  I've had a good morning, I guess. I've been all down about going back to San Antonio. I am really homesick. I am supposed to be at work at twelve. This morning I woke up and I was starving. Joaquin hooked me up with a vegetarian burrito last night. I do believe I won't even waste my time asking at any taqueria's on Alberta. I have spent that resource. But, I am sure that good 'ol Ole Frijole down on 42nd might hook might. I'm going to tell them, "I'm going to work. I'm working for free to give a computer to this coffee shop." Oh yeah, I scraped out a good resin bowl out of Henry's pipe. This morning I got motavated. After I smoked I feel so much better now. I'm walking right now. Even though I'm starving. I'm going to walk all the way to Ole Frijole and try and score breakfast and see if the bus will give me a courtesy ride all the way to the computer shop. I'm going to put in seven hours today. I'm going to try. I don't have anything to eat. Oh wait, it's almost ten already. I should walk over to Karen's house and see if she's home. I left some fruit snacks there when I crashed in the van. That girl Kelly that one night hooked me up with all this dried fruit. That could be fuel for today. I thought about it earlier, but it was too early. Now it's like ten and I can go knock on the door.

10:22am  I went to Karen's house on 31st street. I knocked on the door and nobody was home. I yelled, "Hey, it's Victor. I came to get my bag of dried fruit I left in the bus." I walked over to the VW and looked through the window and the dried fruit was already gone, damnit. I hope Ole Frijole hooks me up. I hope I get to work on time.

Man, I don't know what I was thinking. I could walk to work. I'm on 33rd. Work's on 10th. I can walk that easy. If I can't walk, there must be a shorter bus route. I shouldn't have to go all the way to 82nd to get to 10th if I'm already on 33rd. I don't have to do that at all. Duh.

10:37am  I'm going to go hit up Ole Frijole.

10:41am  Sweet, scored. I told her my story and everything. She told me, "You want it to-go, right?" I'm going to eat and then I'm going to walk to 10th. I'll walk all the way.

10:46am  I walked the wrong way. I'm over here on NW Emerson and 42nd. I am in front of Saint John the Baptist Church. I put a couple of my little flyers in the mail slot. Hopefully, they'll read it. Umm, I think it's spelled fliers, I don't know.

11:02am  I stopped in front of Hot Lips.

                     I'm walking Killingsworth to 10th.

11:43am  Let's see, I woke up at Prescott and 24th, walked all the way to Ole Frijole on 42nd and Killingsworth. Then I messed up walking around the neighborhood and went the wrong way. I ended up back on Killingsworth. I walked past 33rd. I walked Killingsworth all the way to 10th Street. I turned on 10th Steet the way the addresses recede. I'm over at the 4000 block, I think. I'm aiming for 1731. 10th Street jogs a little bit. I'm walking through this park now. I'm walking to 7th Avenue. There's a light. I'm going to turn left.

                     Irving Park.

12:00pm  I am at 1926 10th Street. I am aiming for 1731. I'm just going to be a little late. That's awesome. I am going to end up walking all the way there.

12:01pm  Weird. I am just now passing 1731 10th Street.

Umm, it's not Free Geek. It's a house. Let me double-check the address. Maybe it's 1371, or something.

Argh! Do you ever get that dumbfuck feeling come over you? It's SE 10th, not NE 10th. Argh. I better get a courtesy ride!

I walked all the way down 33rd to the Lloyd Center, the mall and Cad hooked me up with a cigarette. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks. Over on Broadway and 10th.

12:42pm  I am at Free Geek. Oh, I met some girl at the bus stop at the Lloyd Center. She saw me and said, "Didn't you work at Free Geek yesterday?" I told her, "Yeah! That's where I'm trying to go right now." She told me she was on her way there. I said, "I'm following you!" The bus pulled up and it was a free zone right there, so I just got on. I got to tell her my story on the bus. It was cool. I didn't tell her the odyssey though. I gave her my webpage. I'm going to go to work now. Receiving. Uhh, Recycling.

5:22pm  I didn't tell you. I only worked like two and a half hours today. But, I got to get online and check my email and shit. I made all my printouts again. I made so many copies of The Note From the Rich.

5:25pm  The greedy ass driving the six wouldn't let me on. Good little slave.

5:27pm  I'm walking down some street all the way from Free Geek and I'm passing by some ministries place. City Team Ministries. They've got free food here. I get to eat, cool.

5:28pm  James hooked me up with a cigarette in line. I appreciate it, bro. Everybody gets credit, man.

6:18pm  Linda, she's from Texas too, from Dallas, she hooked me up with a cigarette at the bus stop. I appreciate it, sister. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Stan, he hooked me up with an expired transfer. Hopefully that'll work.

6:31pm  Passing by the Irvington Church on the bus. The marquee says, "World changers change the world one person at a time." That's right. That's what I'm doing.

6:53pm  I got off the bus at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Prescott. I thought Alberta would be closeby. There's Prescott, there's Going. Next one should be Alberta.

Oh yeah, I had a marvelous presentation with the girl who gave me the cigarette and the guy who gave me a transfer. I have some believers now. Awesome. I gave them a group hug and everything.

7:13pm  I just walked the wrong way, haha. Past I5 and everything. I should've gone the other way on Martin Luther King. That sucks. I've got a transfer. I'm going to ride the bus.

7:20pm  I walked to Interstate and Killingsworth and Mike gave me a cigarette. He let me roll one. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

Oh yeah, at that bum-feed I got a couple sandwiches and on the walk going the wrong way I found a perfectly good loaf of bread on the ground. Cool, groundscore. Oat Nut Original Bread.

7:42pm  I forgot to tell you. I got a courtesy ride on the 72. I had walked to Killingsworth. I rode it all the way to 24th and got out and took a piss. I'm going to walk to Henry's apartment. I've got groceries, hehe.

7:50pm  Henry's not home. That sucks.

I'm going to walk to Karen's house and see if she got my note.

8:19pm  I walked all the way back to the coffee shop.

Walked 31st all the way to Alberta and then to 24th. I borrowed a phone and I called Henry. He answered and he's home now. I walked all the way over to his house on Prescott.

9:06pm  I am leaving Henry's house. It was cool, I brought him some groceries and he was happy with that. Some bread and some apples. I called Jenny from his phone and when she answered she was all, "Yeah, thank you so much for cleaning the floor last time." She sure as hell is going to let me crash tonight. Awesome. Let's see if I can get a courtesy ride, hehe.

Oh shit, I forgot to give Henry's some printouts I made for him at Free Geek. I already walked a couple blocks. I'm going to walk back.

9:17pm  Leaving again. I'm going to go hang out at the coffee shop by the bus stop until I get a courtesy ride. I hope Cathy is driving. Cathy with a C. She's so pretty.

9:45pm  My good friend Cosmo who smoked me out the other night, he just walked up to me and said, "Hey man, do you wanna go get high?" We came to the spot up the stairs on top of the coffee shop. He kicked me down some weed! Hell yeah, I can smoke people out now! I appreciate it, brother. Thanks for the burn.

10:14pm  The nice driver driving the 72 gave me a ride. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

10:20pm  I had a great presentation with this guy at the bus stop. I got a courtesy ride on the 72. I'm just going to sit down and read my book until I get to Foster Road.

                      It's going to happen soon.

     10:49pm  Just hit Foster.

Next day..
