Okay, the time is 5:52pm. Guess what. Last night my tape recorder stopped working. I changed out the batteries and it still didn't work. Here I am typing this up on the computer. Last night I got out of the house when my mom got here at six or so. I had spent all day yesterday typing up my days. I'm already on the twelfth of this month. When I left last night I grabbed a dollar my mom said I could have and walked to the Citgo to catch the 610. I wasn't sure what time it came. Luckily, right when I got there it came quick. I rode the 610 to the hospital where I transferred to the 92. I had been having some great presentations all day long. I had the idea to stop by Lorenzo's at Santa Fe to see if he was home. I want to get my CD's back from him that I leant him. I was even going to offer to smoke him out, because he's always smoking me out. I wasn't going to crash there, I already wanted to crash at the camp behind the plasma place, where I had crashed two nights before. Anyway, he wasn't home, so I got a hair up my ass to walk all the way downtown. It was already night time by then. I took off walking and every fifteen minutes or so, when a 92 would come I would get on and ask for a courtesy ride. Lately nobody has been giving me rides because I do it so much. I ended up walking all the way to the Deco District HEB before a driver let me on for a quarter. I went downtown after that and had some even more great presentations with people in the park. I was waiting for the 11:30 lineup buses. The last buses for the night. It got a little chilly and I wanted to go back to the camp, where I knew John had an extra sleeping bag I could use. When the lineup 92 pulled up, the greedy ass bus driver told me no. Umm, I guess I could have walked all the way to Balcones Heights to the camp, but it was like almost one. I was supposed to meet Alicia in the park today. This pretty thirty year old girl I had met the other day. We had been flirting and stuff and I asked her if she'd go hiking with me. She said yes and said we would go Saturday at eight in the morning. Because I had that constraint, I walked my happy ass over to 511 Dallas Street and crashed on Bill's front porch.
This morning I woke up real cold. I only got like four or five hours of cold sleep. I went straight to Travis Park and just hung out there all day trying to tell my story to people. It really sucks that my tape recorder is broken. It wasn't that old. I'm really not sure how I'm going to get another one. I go "donate" plasma again on Monday, but I'll only get fifteen dollars. I have been seriously contemplating going and flying my On My Way to Save the World Sign on Fredericksburg/410 again. I am sure so many more people have seen me walking and will hook me up when they see me. Okay, well I recapped it as best as I could. I'm going to go take a nap now.
