     8:08am  Last night I went to bed late. I went looking for a place to crash. I found that little cubby hole on the other side of the highway. I ended up walking back to Somoa and crashing under a tree, where I crashed with Geba a long time ago. I remember. I'll put a link(9-08-03-8:56am) to that. Now I'm walking to the Safeway to take a shit.

                   I am so proud of my bags, or my lack of bags. I only have thirty pounds on my back. Less than that. I am loving my external-frame pack still. I've had it a while now. It's perfect for me.

                   It's all about the external frames, baby.

     8:19am  I am in the Safeway bathroom taking a shit.

     8:26am  I am leaving the Safeway. I'm going to walk to the plaza and get a donut. Get some change for a donut.

      9:16am  I am sitting here telling Sharon my story. She's traveling too. I walked by her and noticed she had a stick almost just like mine. It's a staff. She's got a best friend, just like me. It has this beautiful stone.

     11:24am  Some guy in a yellow shirt just gave me some change for a donut, hell yeah. Fifty six cents.

     12:07pm  Bird just came by and blessed me with some marijuana. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

                      Jade wants to say something into my recorder. What's up, Jade? Jade singing: "The long and windy road that leads to your door has left me standing here a long long time ago."

     12:58pm  Tabor, like Mount Tabor in Portland, walked by and hooked me up with a little nugget. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

     2:18pm  I had a great presentation with this girl with beautiful freckles right now.

     2:54pm  Dawn just came up to me, asked me if I was hungry and handed me some food! I don't know what it is yet.

     3:24pm  Oh, I forgot to tell you. I ran into Airi(1-06-07)! My friend from Santa Barbara. She's on her way to Mendocino. She just wanted to check our Arcata and she didn't like it too much. Arcata is sucking for me too, so I asked her, "Hey, can I go?" I'll come back to Arcata to get that book at the Endeavor that Kali is mailing me. I am heading South again.

     3:59pm  Airi and I, we were on the onramp heading South for like what, forty five minutes, an hour? In no time Dave pulled over for us. Dave's taking us all the way to Garberville! Awesome. We thought we were just getting to Eureka tonight. Everybody gets credit, man. Thanks.

     5:24pm  Me and Airi are in Garberville.

     5:30pm  Josh hooked me up with some change in front of Ray's. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

     7:11pm  Scott and Kat are giving us a ride to Laytonville.
