6:42am  I am leaving for the Citgo. Today's my court-date. I have to make it to this place by nine. I'm really pissed off. I'm letting myself down. Bad timing. I should've printed out my statement.

Well, at court I'm hoping I'll have enough time to tell the story. Without a lawyer. I feel like telling them, "Hey, I know I have every constitutional right to make this long and messy and still end up the victor. I suggest you guy's just dismiss it. I wasn't criminal trespassing. I had my bus pass."

6:58am  The 610 came going to Ingram.

7:34am  Just got to Ingram. I'm going to catch the 90.

I have to go to the Center for Legal and Social Justice on Woodlawn and 36th.

     8:20am  I'm downtown already.

8:55am  Just took a picture of the courthouse. I'm going to go in.

9:10am  I just got out of court. Guess what. Just because I'm wearing shorts they're sending me home. I had even considered putting on slacks in the morning, but said screw it. I'm not ready. I haven't typed up my statement. Now, I have a whole other day to do it. Just because I was wearing shorts. Perfect, perfect. See how things happen for a reason? I can go get my statement printed out now.

I just saw this Native American lady at the bus stop on Flores. I told her my story and she said, "Oh, I just got chills." She's going to the bathroom at the Greyhound. She told me, "Keep up the good work." I told her, "Don't worry. I have to."

9:36am  I'm walking to the library. I'm going to see if I can get a printout. My side of the story. The truth.

11:09am  Came to the park and bought me a hotdog. I saw Josue right afterwards. He asked me, "You want a taco, man?" I told him sure. I shouldn't have spent money on the hotdog. Anyway, he bought me a taco and we're going to go to his crib and smoke some weed.

12:13pm  We just got done at Josue's apartment. He smoked me out! I'm all stoned and happy. He lives up on the eighth floor. It's scary looking out the window. We're watching The Fifth Element. Anyway, we met this cool punk lookin' girl with a Ramone's shirt. She kept telling me that she'd listen to my story. I could really tell that she didn't want to. I told her, "You could just tell me no." She went, "Oh, ok. No." "Ignorance is bliss," I told her.

Now I'm stoned and I don't know what I should do. I should probably just go home and call this Mr. PiƱa guy.

12:29pm  I just took a picture of HP's neck. Who was the guy who messed you up? Some drunk guy Roger started clawing at him. I thought they were knife wounds at first. All this aggro in the park.

1:00pm  The 91 guy hooked me up with a ride. I'm outta here. Just like that, I'm off.

1:42pm  I'm at University Hospital. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm kind of bored. I've got weed, but I don't have a pipe. I'm going to walk over to my friend's apartment.

I decided I was going to use the courtesy phone in the hospital. I walked all the way to the main lobby. Then I might go up to the sixth floor and say hi to my friends there and give them an update. I'll let them read my statement.

1:53pm  Oh yeah, I called my mom's house. My little nephew was home. All by himself. He's a little eight year old kid and they're leaving him home by himself. I asked Charlie, "Can you leave the back door unlocked so I can get in?" He said, "No, Walli doesn't like you doing that." I told him, "She doesn't care. She gave me permission."

2:05pm  Mario hooked me up with a cigarette here at the hospital. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit, thanks.

2:25pm  6443 hooked me up with a transfer. I got on and he was all, "How's it going, man? How's your book coming?" I told him, "Every day is a new chapter. Will you hook me up with a transfer?" He hooked it up.

2:30pm  What's your name? You can make something up if you want. Somebody who doesn't want to give me their name gave me a cigarette at the hospital. I appreciate it, man.

3:20pm  I had a badass presentation with this girl on the back of the bus. She was like leaning forwards staring at me while I talked. She told me, "Oh man, I've never heard anybody like you." "I'm still amazed," she told me. Right now she's running off to go tell somebody, haha. That was awesome. Thank you, Love. That was the greatest feeling. I told her all my stories. Oh yeah, when I got on the bus at the hospital I went to the back and said, "Hey, any of ya'll want to hear a really interesting story?" Her eyes locked on me and I sat down next to her.

Boom! I gave my peace away!

                   Score!

3:26pm  I forgot to tell you I got to the Citgo already and I'm walking to my mom's.

4:00pm  I'm at my mom's house. I ate a bowl of cereal and went in the back yard to smoke. Now I'm going to call this Gina Galaviz person. This police beat news reporter a bus driver told me about today.

4:03pm  I called her and told her, "Hey, I've got a really interesting story. I've got it all typed up and I'm going to email it to you." She's out on a story right now, so it'll be waiting for her.

Next day..
