Tacoma to Seattle, WA
Thursday July 30, 2009
6:31am I woke up about five minutes ago.
6.41 hours of sleep, that's enough. I'll get up and take
pictures after we pack
up and stuff.

7:02am We woke up and crossed the street
so I could get some fresh ice. We got some projects. I have the free clinic
paper I got from the closed down clinic in Lacey. I've got the name of the place
in Tacoma.
44th and Portland Avenue, 41 bus.
8:16am

Molly and I walked up the hill to Tacoma Avenue. We're waiting for the library
to open at nine, over an hour away. Molly wants to find a puppy on Craigslist.
Wups, I keep reading how long I slept as the time.
8:43am I am having a great presentation
with Sally in front of the government building, I think. She let me have a
rolling paper earlier. I appreciate it, Sally. Everybody gets credit.
9:30am I went to the library and did some
typing. I am already back in Portland in my typing. I spent an hour typing and
also renewing my domain name. I'm going to walk down the hill. This town is
steep. I'll walk all the way to Tacoma Avenue to the library again. I don't know
where Molly went. I hope she gets her dog. I love Molly. I'm going to walk to
the bus stop and catch the 41 to the neighborhood clinic.
I had an awesome guestbook signature on my website.

A friend gave me you ticket/site he seen you in Portland and after seeing what
your about.....it changed me forever.......for the good
mad love brother
10:35am The nice 41 driver let me on fifty
cents short. Welcome to Tacoma.
11:00am Oh yeah, I got off on 44th and
Portland. I saw a big community health care place. I asked the driver if he knew
where the Tacoma Neighborhood Clinic was and he said we just passed it. I went
in there and it wasn't the place, they charged there. They gave me the correct
address on Yakima. I walked outside to wait for the bus to come again and what
do I see, a Tienda and Taqueria. Sweet, I'm going to go score some breakfast.
11:05am The nice people at Taqueria Zamora
are hooking me up.
11:22am Sweet, I got hooked up at the
taqueria with a couple tacos. The bus came again, the 41 and I'm going to go
back to Commerce and catch the 45 to Hilltop and Yakima Avenue. The nice driver
gave me a transfer last time so I got back on the 41 for free.
11:47am I just got off on Commerce Street
at the 45 stop.
12:29pm I missed the eleven thirty bus, so
I have to wait till 12:30. My transfer is fifteen minutes late now, so I hope I
get a ride. Please, Love. Mobilize me.
Some guy gave me a flyer for Hemp Fest in Seattle on the 15th. I'll be there,
for sure.

1:38pm The bus dropped me off in front of
Community Services place.
2:10pm Damnit, they have this urgent care
thing that opens at five. I doubt they'll do blood screenings there. It's a
first-come-first-serve basis place. So I'm not going to get tested here. I'll do
it in Seattle. It's three dollars bus fare to get to Seattle, but I'm going to
try and get a courtesy ride. You know me. I'm on Yakima Avenue and I am walking
back to the buses on Commerce. Oh yeah, at that clinic behind it they had a food
bank place and I scored me some traveling snacks.

2:15pm The greedy ass driver won't give me
a ride. Nobody wants world peace! Ha.
2:19pm The next driver told me no too.
Good little slaves!
Before the next bus came this kid walked by and I hit him up for my story. When
I get to the part, "like every cigarette I bum..." he volunteered me a
cigarette. I then asked him, "Think you can spare any change for bus fare to
Seattle in case I don't get a courtesy ride?" He gave me a dollar. Then right
before the bus was about to leave for me only having a dollar, this girl getting
on volunteered me another dollar, but the tight ass driver still wouldn't let me
on. When I hit him up he asked me, "Go to a grocery store and try that line." I
told him, "At a grocery store I would go over their heads and ask to speak to a
manager." Then Jim walked by wearing a Dallas Stars shirt, a fellow Texan he
hooked me up with a bus ticket worth $1.75. I appreciate it, brother.
2:53pm I am on the bus to Seattle.
3:59pm
Downtown Seattle.
4:03pm I just got to town and John was
nice enough to let me have half of his cigarette. I appreciate it, brother.
Everybody gets credit.
4:23pm Three minutes late. Clinton and
Charlie came up to me and volunteered me some food. I appreciate it, guys.
Everybody gets credit, thanks a lot.
5:21pm Tina is nice enough to give me a
cigarette on whatever street I am on. Thank you, Tina. Everybody gets credit.

6:40pm Andrea is being nice enough to give
me a cigarette. I appreciate it, Andrea. Everybody gets credit.
8:14pm It's still light outside. Man, I've
been here at 4th and Pine passing out my website like crazy. My FREE HUGS AND/OR
BREAST EXAMS is a total hit in this town! People are loving it, doing
double-takes and cracking up.
A policeman just came up to me and told me, "Nice sign." Yeah!
9:28pm I'm telling
Chris my story and he
hooked me up with a cigarette. I appreciate it, brother.
9:46pm Great presentation with Chris. I
told him the important part and the note from the rich and everything.
10:03pm I should recap already. I got
smoked out finally. Some guy gave me a couple hits. I forgot his name.
10:59pm I should make an update by now.
Not that far away from where I was I found these bushes to crash behind. Around
one 'o clock the sprinklers came on in the field behind the bushes and I got a
little wet. I only got two hours of sleep. I don't know what I'm going to do.
Maybe I'll have to find a park somewhere to take a nap in. I'm just going to
keep walking randomly.
About ten of fifteen minutes ago I wandered over to this squat next to this
building. I was walking towards I5. I'll take pictures in the morning. I'm going
to try and get a couple hours more of sleep.
