7:59am  Right now Carol and I are in Denver. My tape recorder broke a couple days ago before we left. We are waiting for the Greyhound to leave for Boulder at eight thirty. When the bus got here we had a two hour layover. We went and ate breakfast at the 20th Street Cafe. Across the street we found a cool place with benches and bushes and grass. We let Sueño out. I walked back to the bus station to make sure of departure time. When I went back I saw this cool kid Wayne, who had smoked us out on the way up here. Somewhere where the bus stopped. Anyway, he came up to me and asked me if I wanted to smoke a cigarette with him. When we got outside he told me to try his coffee, that it was really good. He handed me his Styrofoam cup and between his hand and the cup there was a little plastic baggie with a little weed! His bus left and I went and smoked Carol out. Wayne made our day. Then we went back to the bus station. I went to go smoke a cigarette outside. This guy walks up to me and I put on my presentation. He was going to Boulder too. When we got to Boulder Noah smoked us out. Carol and I got a courtesy ride to our old corner, 30th and Baseline. Carol thought she knew of a place nearby to crash, but we ended up going to my old squat at St. Andrews. We didn't make camp under the tree, but right behind the playground there was a little thatch of trees. We put down my rain poncho and sleeping bag and took a nap. We woke up and took the bus to Wild Oats on Broadway and Arapahoe. We tied Sueño the cat to a tree stump and then we rode the bus to Wild Oats. Oh yeah, we stashed our bags in the shed. At Wild Oats we walked in, went to the deli and ordered some pizza "for here." We walked the plates outside and ate(for free). From there we rode the bus back to camp to check on Sueño, the cat. He was just fine sleeping on our bed. Around ten forty five we met up with Raja, Carol bought a twelve pack of PBR's and we came to party at our camp.

Next day..
