4:25am 6.43 of sleep. That's enough.

7:33am All packed up and leaving.
7:41am In no-time. I was out there for like five minutes at the stopsign and Aaron pulled over for me. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit. Thanks a lot.
8:30am I just got dropped off 35 miles away from Winthrop. I got a 37 mile ride from Newhalem. There's a sign here that says North Cascades Scenic Highway, Rainy Pass, picnic area. The cars are real sparse out here. Hopefully I'll luck out like I did with that Aaron guy. There's no cars anywhere.
8:41am These two hikers just came up to me and wanted to hear my story, but they won't take the website. Damn, you must like war! I hit them up for my story one guy told me they wanted to hike.
10:37am Nancy and Kim just hooked me up with some food so I can start walking. Earlier they pulled up to the stopsign and I asked them for a ride. Nancy told me that they were going to the ranger station to get a pass. I asked them if they could spare any food so I could start walking. They just came back and hooked me up with a Clif bar and an apple. Sweet, I'm going to start walking now.
10:40am After I got hooked up with a little bit of food I was going to start walking. No cars were pulling over for me, but then all of a sudden Cynthia pulled over for me. I appreciate it, Cynthia. Everybody gets credit. I'll type it better, I promise.
11:33am I just got dropped off in Twisp! I was told to come here. Cool little town. There's more stuff here than where I was at Rainy Pass.
11:58am I should make an update. I got dropped off at the Chevron and I went inside and they let me fill my bag up with ice. We passed a Mexican restaurant right before we got to the Chevron. I'm going to walk to it and get some breakfast.
Paco's Tacos. Let's see what they tell me here.
12:10pm Sweet, getting hooked up at Paco's Tacos. They're not Mexican but they're still hooking me up. They asked me what I wanted and I told them to surprise me. Just don't make it spicy.
12:14pm Peter and the nice people at Paco's Tacos is hooking me up. Welcome to Twisp, Victor. Everybody gets credit. Thanks a lot.
This guy driving a Subaru AWD, I didn't get his name, but he just listened to my story at the picnic bench at Paco's Tacos. I still need to tell the other guy my story, the guy working Peter.
That guy in the Subaru said he believed in me, hell yeah.
12:59pm I had a good time at Paco's Tacos. I told my story to that one guy. He walked up and said, "Alright, what's your story?" He sat down and listened to it. And they hooked me up at Paco's Tacos. I offered to help him with dishes but he told me not to worry about it, that I had a long way to go. Anyway, I'm going to walk to the park. I see a sign pointing to Twisp River Recreational Area. Let's see who I can tell my story to. Maybe I'll get to smoke some weed somehow.
I was walking on the way to the park I thought, but a guy on a bike told me it was the other way. He told me to go to the second stop sign and take a left, go all the way down and take a right.
Peace sign on river beach
1:49pm I walked to the park. I sat down and scraped a little tiny resin hit. I'm all stoned off of it though. I just walked down Glover Street, the main drag here. I would take pictures, but my camera is almost dead. I'm going to go to the library, check my email and charge my battery.
2:07pm I just had a good presentation with Lincoln who is spackling. Is that what you call what you're doing? Mudding and taping. Thanks for listening, bro.
4:47pm I just had an awesome presentation with these kids in the park. See, I had walked to the park and tried to take a nap. There were these kids at the picnic table closeby. I couldn't fall asleep and then this dude showed up with a badass remote control car. I went up and hit them up for my story.
5:08pm After I told those kids in the park my story I started walking down the street and I saw these other kids hanging out on their front porch smoking cigarettes. I walked by and gave them the peace sign. Then I yelled check out my website. One came over to get it and they invited me over and I'm telling them my story. Right now we're going to walk to the park so I can keep telling them my story. Let's see what happens.
5:57pm Andria showed up and she brought some weed! She's smoking everybody out. I'm all stoned, thank you. Dustin's ambigram tattoo.
6:20pm When I get to Boston go to Emerson College and look up who? Andria Kimbrell. Thanks for the destination. See you there.
6:33pm Andria and Dustin, told them my story.
6:35pm Hell yeah, welcome to Twisp. That's a really cool name for a town, Twisp. I'll look up some history on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twisp,_Washington. I should've taken pictures but my battery is almost dead. Well, I did take pictures of Andria and Dustin. Oh yeah, I gave Dustin my Dr. Seuss hat I had(5-22-09) I gotten from Marilyn Trevino in Yreka. Damn, I forgot to ask them for a nugget for my one-hitter.

7:15pm I just had a whole lot of storytelling after I got high. I told all these kids my story. I don't remember their names. I'm going to go hang out at the Chevron again and tell more people my story.
Oh yeah, I never told you about the guy on the bike from New Zealand. When I first walked to the park and scraped that resin hit he was hanging out in the river nearby. He came up eventually and I him up for my story. We keep seeing each other everywhere in town.
7:36pm I haven't been too descriptive nor have I taken many pictures. My battery is dying and I'm trying to conserve. Stupid-me forgot to charge it when I went to the library earlier.
7:55pm About ten minutes ago I came to Hank's Grocery Store. I'm just standing in front. I'm not asking for anything. I'm going to try and tell people my story.
Be sure to add a section to my website titled GOOGLE ME. I'll put links to all the pages that came up on Google when you search for "Victor Antonio Gruber, world peace through marijuana, havethisbook.com, etc.
Calvary Baptist Church marquee: "Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now."
8:10pm I have a magical update to make. See, I had decided I would just walk towards the East Coast. I hung out in Twisp all day. After the sun came down I just started walking, maybe I would find a place to camp somewhere. This brother who had seen me earlier at Cinnamon Twisp, the bakery I walked into to ask directions to the library, he thought I looked cool. I was walking right now and he pulled over for me! What happened? Brother Sam: "We're going to go up to Falls Creek and there's a couple waterfalls. If you hike you dead end in this canyon and there's just straight cliff walls and a waterfall and a little beach. Well, here's your options. I could cruise you to a place where there's a nice sand beach in Carlton, the next town up, or I'm just going to pick up some buddies and we're going to go drink and party a little bit. Either way, if you want to carry on moving or you want to come party.." Well, for sure I want to come party. I don't drink, though. There will be weed? Great! Hmm, let me think about this. Cool, I'm there. Badass, look what happened to me tonight.
Listeners on Sam's front porch
I should make an update. Sam his name is, had seen me at the bakery earlier when I was walking through town looking for the library. Sam told me that if he would of had enough room then he was going to invite me, but now he drove by and saw me and he did have room he pulled over. We came to his house out in the country. Man, I've been telling my story all day, it's been magical. He smoked me out on the front porch like crazy. I'm all stoned.
Look up on the internet the making of an icedam. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_dam
