8:01am This morning I woke up in a good
mood around seven, as usual. I smoked a cigarette at our badass camp. It is so
cool how everything is falling into place. We are getting a ride to Portland on
the seventeenth. From craigslist.org's rideshare. We should get the checks from
TNMO today or tomorrow. We are supposed to chip in seventy five bucks for gas,
which we will have when the checks get here. Oh yeah, this morning on my way to
the Denny's by The Broker Inn I found a tarp. I put it in my bag. I came to
Denny's and Forest was working. I don't know if he'll hook me up with breakfast,
or not. I am sitting outside logging in hopes he'll come out. Ahh, forget it.
We've got food at home. I'm going to go.
12:06pm Carol and I caught the Bound to
Boulder Workforce. They didn't hassle us at all, I was surprised. Carol has a
mountain of faxes she has to make for her child support dispute in CA, The guy
who found her cellphone called Deanna, Carol's birth-mom, and told her he found
it. He's supposed to drop it off at Boulder Workforce, but in the end he
couldn't. So, I'm going to go to his apartment and get it. I'm on The Bound now.
His address is 664 Manhattan. Off Baseline, past the Safeway at Mohawk.
Carol: "The guy's name was Tony. He gave Vic the phone then Vic met me at KS on
30th and Arapahoe. I called Tony from Big O Tires to let Vic know I would be
there instead of Boulder Workforce. We had sandwiches and potato salad for
lunch. Then we walked to Kent and Joanna's, but nobody was home. We stopped in
the leasing office, but the phones were not there yet. Then we walked to Dave's, but the
checks never came. In fact, no mail at all came. Victor scraped all of Dave's pipes
and got a mountain of resin. We all got high. Vic decided to walk to KS and get
pizza. We ate pizza and ice cream with Dave. Then we walked home and went to bed
because it was real windy and it was like ten already."
Next day..
