Westley to Patterson to Newman, CA

3:12am  I got about three hours of sleep.  I found a little spot.  I should get up and take a picture of it.  

7:46am  I haven't made any other updates since I woke up.  I got bored at the rest area, not too many cars.  It's cold.  I got like three hours of sleep.  I walked to the onramp expecting to see a Pedestrians Prohibited sign, but there wasn't.  So I walked a quarter mile or so until I got to the sign that says Westley - 4, Los Angeles - 311.  I figure whatever is 4 miles away, I can walk that.  I am going to hoof it.  I haven't been thumbing at all.  I have been giving peace signs, shooting them at people.  Alright, I am going to keep walking.  

9:00am  I just walked those four miles nonstop, sped-walked.  I am not sure how long it took me, but it's nine now.  An hour and sixteen minutes.  That's not so bad with how little training I did before I left.  I put on my wrist-weights too.  Actually, I got here like ten minutes ago because I was walking on the side of the road facing traffic so I could give the peace signs.  So I got here at 45 after, which makes that four mile "sprint" exactly one hour.  Four miles an hour!  With fifty pounds on my back.  I am beat.  I'm going to rest at the Valero truck stop here.  

11:27am  In no-time, it was after the second break I took because I didn't want my neck to get too red, I walked back to the onramp and in no-time Louie pulled over for me!  Where are you from, Louie?  I noticed an accent.  He is from Switzerland.  Thanks for picking me up, Louie.  Everybody gets credit.  He dropped me off at the Love's in Patterson, I think.

6:49pm  These two ladies just walked right in front of me and wouldn't even accept my blog.  NOBODY wants world peace!  I was just testing you two!  Good little slaves!  Damn, have you always been that ignorant?  

7:26pm  I am in the town of Newman, right?  Jose is hooking me up with dinner at the Taqueria Carolina.  I appreciate it, brother.  Everybody gets credit.  Thanks a lot.  

        I didn't record it, but I got picked up real on the onramp where Louie dropped me off by this

 nice Mexican lady who brought me to Newman.  She asked me where I wanted to be dropped off and I told her any taqueria.  I even gave her a shirt for giving me the ride.
