11:50am Let's see, this morning Carol brought me and her son Kent to Boulder Calls. This is perfect. Telemarketing. I just got finished doing their online application. In it I put, "I am very proficient in convincing people. I guarantee I will excel at whatever project I am placed on(How's that for positive-assumptive?)." I will feel right at home here. After Kent is done we will both walk to the Boulder Workforce resource center where Carol is.
1:11pm Hired. It was cool, right after I finished my application this interviewer Jerri asked me if I was there for an interview. I told her tomorrow. She walked off and came back and agreed to interview me right then. I got the job! I have to come back tomorrow and give them some paperwork. Kent's going to interview tomorrow too.
3:10pm We drove to the People's Clinic. Carol's getting some birth control.
4:57pm I'm waiting for Carol. Oh yeah, I need to tell you. While Carol was waiting she used my found cellphone, which is still working. She called a TV station and scored a half-hour spot on public TV. Afterwards, she called Bob, the director of worldcantwait.org. She told him about all the work she's been doing in Boulder for the November 2nd walkout. At first he was all stressing fundraising. Carol told him, "We're hippies. We don't have any money. We're all about free." She told him her house is filled with free stuff. She told him how we got free copies at the resource center to put up flyers. She told him how Abbie Hoffman did it with no money. She just really turned this guy around. She brought out the hippie in him. He even said that he was happy people like her existed. That she had an infectious spirit. It was really cool. I desperately need to send Bob my webpage. As the mission evolves. I am still waiting for Carol.
5:43pm Hmm, I am still waiting for Carol. I wonder what's taking her so long. Maybe she's pregnant, hehe.
