     7:58am  I just woke up. I got six hours of sleep, 6.33.

                   Maggie the dog.

     9:45am  I am leaving the house. I'm going to walk today. I need to start walking more bad. I've been glued to computer working hard, but not walking. I'm way out of balance with my smoking. I hope I don't get sick. I need to get in shape for my departure. I need to train. I'm going to go back to West Coast and counsel with Fawn Journeyhawk. It's the fifteenth already and there is no spaceship in the sky.

     9:58am  I just came out of the Citgo. I got ice. It rained this morning so it might rain again today. It was cool, I figured out a way to attach my blue rain poncho to my CamelBak so I can have it just in case. This way I don't have to carry it in a cargo pocket. I'm going to walk to Bob's and then walk to some woods nearby if he's not there. And I can show him my new hunting boots.

     11:45am  Right when I was walking by Bob's it started pouring hard, just like last time I was walking by Bob's house. He was hanging out in his garage with his helper. I forgot his name. I offered them hits off my one-hitter and we smoked some of Bob's shwag too. Bob showed me this deer he shot in the heart with a bow and arrow.  It stopped raining so I'm going to walk into the woods now.

     12:17pm  I took a little walk in the woods. Not on a trail, just walking through. I just randomly came up on this ditch and onto some street.

     12:25pm  I popped out over by Bowen's Crossing close to Loop 1604. I'm going to cross the highway and see if I can jump a fence and keep cutting through woods.

     12:45pm  I did just that, hopped over a barbwire fence and kept cutting through the woods. I ended up at an old foundation out here. I'll take pictures. I'm going to find a place to sit down and smoke.

     1:00pm  I had a good little smokebreak in the shade. I was playing with these hairy caterpillars, spitting on them. Whoa, I almost ran into a big spider web. I'm not going to knock it down with my stick. I'll go around. Respect all life.

                   It seems I was trespassing at 9290 Leslie Road. Sorry guy. Whoa, there's a shallow low water crossing here. I'm testing my boots out today. They're supposed to be waterproof. Let's see if they are.

                   They are. I love my new boots.

     1:10pm  I was walking in the direction of Braun Road on Leslie Road. I walked in front of the Wild Animal Orphanage.  I took a picture of all their cats.  Then I remembered there was a taco cart over by the Walmart by Culebra. I'm going to go hit them up.

     1:22pm  I'm walking 1604 right now. I found some blessings on the side of the road. I found some sparklers. They're a little damp so hopefully they'll work when they dry out. I also found me a good carabineer. These things come in handy, sweet. I'm going to keep walking Leslie Road.

     1:33pm  I'm not going to walk all the way to the Walmart and hit up the taqueria. I'm going to stop at the McDonald's on Shaenfield and buy a double cheeseburger. I've been walking all day on just a bowl of cereal from this morning.

     1:57pm  I went to the McDonald's and bought a double cheeseburger. I have one in my pocket for later. I went outside and smoked. Man, I'm smoking way too much. I need to stop smoking cigarettes. Or at least cut back a lot. Every time I smoke a cigarette I smoke weed. I really do stay high. I'm scared it's going to catch up to me. I'm kind of worried about. It's such a gamble. Just because I haven't been walking that much lately. I've been staying on the computer for days. I need to take off already. I want to go West again.

     2:08pm  I walked down Shaenfield Road. I'm walking by a school. I think it's O'Conner High School. I'm walking by an ISD cop. It's not O'Conner. It's Wallace Jefferson Middle School.

     2:14pm  I'm coming up to where the road is closed...but not for me. All these cars are turning around, around the corner here.

                   Shit, maybe it is closed for me too. A river runs through it. I'll take a picture. Ugh, I hate doubling back.

     2:21pm  Dude, I just sloshed through the water. These boots aren't waterproof when the water is up to my knees, hehe. Hopefully that washed off any bugs that were on my legs from all the hiking today. I hope my boots will dry off by themselves. I'm just going to keep walking in them wet. It sucks.

     2:25pm  Well, whattayaknow. Chinco Tacos is right here! Good thing I didn't walk 1604 to the Walmart. I wonder if they'll remember me.

     2:26pm  Cool, I walked up there and the guy asked me, "How have you been?" In Spanish he told me, "I looked on your website and you put our names.(8-2-08:11:24am)" Everybody gets credit, I told him. "Todo el mundo recibe credito." Hell yeah, he looked at the website. He's making me something to eat right now. Eduardo, I think.

     2:43pm  Coming up on FM 1560, turning right.

     3:04pm  It's about time I made up update. I was walking down 1560 and all of a sudden I see an empty Mr. W Fireworks stand. I came to it and I am sitting inside taking a break. I took off my boots because they're all soaked. I took off my socks too and wrung them out real good. Hopefully my feet will feel better when I put them back on.

     3:13pm  I took a long break in the fireworks stand. I'm leaving now. My feet are a little better.

     3:23pm  Turning left on Dohen Drive for no reason whatsoever. Just because I see an arrow pointing to the left.

     3:25pm  Passing Sunset Boulevard.

     3:30pm  Wow, coming up on Braun Road! What a surprise. I'm not that far.

     3:57pm  I'm coming up on Leslie Road again. Man, they've totally raped the countryside out here. They're totally extending Braun Road. I guess it's good that there's a sidewalk all the way to 1604. All these rich houses out here and shit.

                   I think Leslie Road zigzags and I'll pass it again on the other side of the street.

                   I had a good walk today. I'm going to walk home now.

     4:03pm  Crossing over 1604 on Braun Road.

     4:25pm  I came to the Brigadoon park. I just went straight down Braun Road. I didn't turn into the neighborhood. I'm going to sit down and eat my other burger.

     4:44pm  Back home.

     9:54pm  I'm going to bed. I'm kind of tired from walking today.
