Eureka to Arcata to Garberville to Laytonville to Willits to some closed campground, CA
Saturday October 28, 2006
6:35am We're supposed to volunteer for
something today. Clean up some shit in the marsh. We came to the bowling alley
to use the bathroom. Carol went for a walk. I scraped a little resin and we had
a little hash. Right now I'm going to go follow Carol.
1:52pm I haven't made an update in a
while. We're about to leave the coffee shop. Oh, did I tell you we scammed
breakfast this morning again at the Best Western? For the millionth time now.
We'll probably do it tomorrow too, hehe. Oh yeah, we decided to leave. We're
going to go South towards Bakersfield where Carol has court in November some
time. She's still waiting on an email from her lawyer. Fuck Arcata. This is a shwag town. Lots of hippiecrites.
Oh, I never told you I've been reading
1984. It's awesome. Everybody should read
it.
Carol: "Oh, I haven't told you. Me and Victor are getting the fuck out of here.
Did you mention that? We have to wait three weeks for General Relief here and
it's just bullshit. It's really bullshit. They sent me through all these stupid
things and I just don't want to do it. Oh, Kent's going to Bakersfield in a
couple of days."
4:55pm I forgot to tell you that we're in
Garberville. We're going to let the car rest here.
5:53pm These kids who had seen us in
Arcata came up to use in Garberville. They're smoking us out at the park. I'm
telling them my story.
7:25am Moana helped us out with five
gallons of gas in Laytonville. We appreciate it, Moana. Everybody gets credit,
thanks.
7:27pm We're in Laytonville driving South
with these kids we picked up in Garberville. They smoked us out like crazy. We
appreciate it, guys. We stopped in Laytonville and this nice lady hooked us up
with some gas. There's a cop right now looking at me watching me recording
myself.
Oh yeah, we found a gascap. We had lost ours recently.
8:34pm We got pulled over in Willits. The
cop said the license plate light wasn't working. Our fake insurance worked once
again. He gave us back our stuff and let us go. He told Carol to get an Oregon
driver's license. We're going to keep going down to wherever.
10:23pm We were driving and Victor got
tired. We got pulled over by the police. I think he already mentioned that. I
drove for like an hour and we found this random campground that's closed. It's
closed but we got this really cool place to sleep. There's a river running right
by us. If the camp host is here he is down the hill. Their dog is like watching
over us. Tomorrow morning we're headed South to spread the word.
