6:05am I woke up about five minutes ago. I got a whole six hours of sleep last night. It was cool, the sprinklers didn't come on last night at all. This is such a great spot I've got.
6:29am Up and at 'em. All packed up and out of here. It seems as if I have a secure squat here. I'll take a couple pictures. I am supposed to meet Bill for breakfast at seven. I can hold my feces until after breakfast.
Today's mission is cargo shorts. The sewing job I did split and they're really falling apart now.
6:52am Janie walked up to me and volunteered me some food in front of the breakfast place. Old Townhouse Restaurant. Everybody gets credit. Thanks a lot.
7:17am Ricochet walked by. Where are you from, brother? Ireland. I was out of water and I saw him walking down the sidewalk holding a brand new gallon of water. I asked him if he could spare any water and he said sure. He was all surprised. He told me nobody had ever asked him for water.
7:45am Did I ever tell you that I had come and stood in front of Old Townhouse Restaurant. Bill was supposed to be here at seven, but he hasn't showed up at all. It's awesome that this lady walked by and gave me some food. I got a little breakfast anyway. A little sausage and hash browns. Hehe, I said hash. Hmm, I should still have a little bit of hash left. Hold on. Oh yeah, this Irish guy walked by. I didn't get into my story so much because he was nice enough to give me some water. He had a lot to say himself anyway. He told me that he's been traveling the whole world and he was talking about how people should wake up. There's an ashtray here so I was able to make myself a snipe-rat.
9:15am I had an awesome presentation with Manny. Whole Odyssey and everything over by the firepit. Manny: "I love you. I wish more people were like you. Everything I've learned within the last eight to twelve years, read a book called Barbara's Eyes, The Mayan Code by Barbara Hand Clow and you'll see why I carry around a piece of Guatemalan blue jade because when Cortez got to where Aztecs were, Aztecs were more than willing to give them all of their gold. They were harnessing the power of the universe in one stone." The Stargate. Manny: "Exactly!"
9:23am Strider smoked me out at the firepit. I really appreciate it. Everybody gets credit. Thanks a lot.
Jameson is hooking everybody up with a cigarette at the firepit. Everybody gets credit. Thanks a lot.
10:25am I just came to the ARCO, the gas station and refilled my ice. The pretty girl let me get ice and she even let me use a cup for free. It was kind of dead, so I hit her up for my story. I got to the part where I told her how I was logging my life. She was very reactive to my story. Her boss came, so I had to go. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm going to go find other people to tell my story to.
10:50am I went up to The Wall and Strider was carrying these shoes he said he just scored at the thrift store. Oh shit, when I went the guy told me they didn't open until eleven. I guess they're already open. That's where I'm going right now. I need new shorts.
11:02am Shirley, at the VFW thrift store is giving me some clothes. I appreciate it, Shirley. Everybody gets credit.
11:18am I scored me some new shorts! They were 34's so I had to cut a slit to make the waist tighter when buttoned. They used to be cargo pants, but they're cutoffs. I am able to retire my camos. I'll get other shorts soon because these won't last too long. When I first walked in Shirley started asking me questions and I told her my story a little.
I just went over all my pocket-content. Oh yeah, above the shorts I found a Ramie sweater. I took both the shorts and the shirt up to the counter and said, "I just want to get the price so I'll know what to try and manifest." She told me, "Just give me back the hangars."
11:27am Some magic just happened. I just got another small metal ring I had lost a couple days ago for my backpack. Happy walked by then came back and said, "Here," and handed me an extra pin with ring attached! I was told to look for Happy and Emily in OB, but I think it was a girl Happy.
I had another great presentation with this guy walking a dog. When he walked by I asked him if I could pet his dog. He said sure and, "I like your shirt."
12:02pm Erin was nice enough to give me a cloved cigarette. Thank you so much. Everybody gets credit.
12:30pm Right now it was awesome. I came to Nico's Mexican Food. I asked the lady in Spanish if she could give me a cup of hot water for my Ramen soup. She told me to give her one moment and I told her to take her time. I thought maybe she'd volunteer me a taco because I look like a traveler. Then all of a sudden I go outside and some other people give me some food! I ate the Ramen first so as not to waste the hot water. I'm going to get full, cool.
2:27pm I think I'm going to take off traveling again. I'm going to leave Ocean Beach again. I've got nothing tying me down and I'm bored. Maybe I should stick around. I don't know. Maybe I'll leave tomorrow morning.
2:50pm Jason Rambo just hooked me up with five bucks after I told him my story. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit.
4:44pm I'm coming out of the library. I got five sheets of havethisbook.coms. I only had twenty cents, but the librarian just told me I owed him 60 tomorrow.
7:42pm Sean, he listened to all of my stories at the ARCO. Well, not all. I got lots. Afterwards he volunteered me some spinach and broccoli. I appreciate it, brother. Everybody gets credit.
8:15pm Nice, I got to tell Sean at the ARCO my stories.
I'm all stoned. I'm almost out of weed again. I bought five dollars worth at the firepit. All those money hungry gutterpunks are all still sleeping.
On my website when I give thanks at the bottom, instead of saying, "Even the ignorant," say, "Even the people who ignore me.."
8:55pm I'm bored. I'm going home. I'm going to go crash at the church again. The sprinklers are going to come on probably, so I'm going to set the tarp up like I did last night. I do believe I've played out Ocean Beach, just like I thought I did last time I left. I am leaving tomorrow. I'm traveling up North again. I'll ride the bus up to San Clemente again. I'll go back to Santa Ana and see my brother David and see if I can borrow his laptop so I can type up this big Ocean Beach adventure I just went on. His old walking stick I've been using has worn down a bit and is a lot shorter than armpit-height. I want to hit him up for his walking stick. I don't care if it's heavy.
9:14pm I made my way over to Saint Peters by the Sea. I hope nobody sees me. I'm going to make my bed and crash out.
Next day..
