Okay, what an interesting morning so far. It's about ten. I'm really happy right now. I'm almost ready to go. I got an Adidas soccer-shoe bag again. The other day I bought me a CD player. I'm almost ready. I don't know what I'm going to do today. I should probably go to Carlos' because he has a lot of tennis balls that I need for my stick. I cut a little x in them and put them over the tip of my stick for grip. One will last me a good ten miles before it wears all the way through.
Anyway, I walked to Braun Station Elementary and caught the 622 to the grocery store. It was one minute late and I could see the bus I needed to be on taking off. I rode the 622 to the stop light at Bandera and asked to be let off. I hopped out, but the light had just turned green and the other bus(605) was taking off. I was a little bummed. I decided I would just walk to OP Schnabel, cut through the trails to Prue Road and just walk my happy ass to Carlos'. As I stood there at the light thinking, this guy pulled up to me and asked me, "Hey, did you miss the bus? Want a ride?" Cool! He was going North on Bandera and I told him to just drop me off in front of OP Schnabel. I was already dead-set on taking a nature hike, but this guy just made it a lot easier for me. I didn't have to walk to the front of the park. Now I'm walking down some trail taking my nice nature hike. I'm going to smoke a cigarette.
Whoa, while I was hiking through the woods, I saw some guy walking and he had a stick too. I walked a little faster and caught up with him. I said, "Hey, what's up brother?" We started talking and it turns out he's from Puerto Rico, too! He didn't have a car either. He was some older man, like fifty something. I asked him if he wanted to go hang out at my hideout and he told me he had been there before. He said he was going to keep on walking and see what he could find, but he might swing by later and say hello. I'm at the hideout now. I'm going to smoke some weed.
Wow, what a cool day. Another one. I started walking and suddenly I didn't feel like going to Carlos' anymore. I'm going to go exploring. Maybe I'll go walk along the side of the cliff and see if I can find that cave I used to hang out at when I was a little kid.
I found it! I was walking alongside the cliff and I almost fell. I guess it's kind of dangerous to be walking along this tall cliff, but oh well. The entrance to the cave is way too small for me to fit in now. Actually, I don't think I ever went inside it when I was a little kid either. For some reason, it just left this imprint in my mind. I It brings back memories. Then I walked over to these badass rocks over in the creek and thought, "I need to take a shit." I checked in my CD case where I always keep a couple napkins and luckily I still had some. I found a little tree stump at the base of a tree and I took me a healthy shit in the woods and I wiped my ass with a couple napkins. It's always good to be prepared. Hehe, this is all training for my survival mission to the West Coast. Making do without.
I walked all the way to Carlos' house and hung out there for a while. I got a couple slices of bread and some tennis balls for my stick. I'm walking through the ditch towards the bus stop so I can go home and eat. Aww man, it sucks. I need some more things and I don't have any more money. How am I going to get it? Well anyway, as I walking out of Carlos' house in the grass I found all this change just laying there. Like seventy five cents worth of dimes and nickels just lying in the grass together. How weird is that?
Okay this is where I stopped logging my day.
