1:30pm  Christmas Day. I've been kind of lazy. I had woken up and gone back to sleep and crashed out for a while. It's kind of uncomfortable typing up my stuff on Sam's computer, because he doesn't have a desk or chair. It's on the floor on top of a milk crate.

Whoa, this dude just rescued a cat off the roof. It was all on top of Sam's building and moaning. Some dude had gone up there to rescue it and handed it down to me. His name is Trey. How nice of him to rescue the cat. Oh yeah, he gave me the rest of his cigarette too.

1:50pm  I was telling Trey my story. I told him about how I had found those boots before I had left for my trip and that they were size twelve and everything. He goes, "I got two pairs of boots. You can pick one of them if you want." Awesome. He hooked me up with some leather Sketchers. The boots I have hurt my feet. Maybe they'll air out better than my current boots.

1:55pm  This morning I had woken up at Sam's. He had some clippers so I shaved my head. I cleaned up the bathroom real good. I took out the trash and tidied up. I folded the blankets and made the floor(since he doesn't have a bed). I got dressed and put on my boots and decided to go for a stroll and see if I could get a cigarette off of somebody. I saw some guy on the roof of Sam's building. See, earlier I had noticed that there was a cat crying up there. The dude up there ended up rescuing the cat. After he brought the cat down I told him, "Man, you're such a good Samaritan." He said, "Ahh, it's Christmas."

2:21pm  I went to the bus stop on Fredericksburg, right in front of Sam's apartments. All of a sudden I notice this girl walk up. She asked me, "Do you know what time the 91 comes?" I told her it wasn't coming for a while, but that it didn't stop there, but at the Denny's down the street. I asked her, "Do you want to hear a really interesting story while you wait for the bus?" She looks at me and says, "I remember you." She turned out to be this girl I had talked to on the bus a long time ago who said she was going to try to get me some free karate lessons. I had met her one time when I rode the bus to Quarry Market.

That's so awesome. I leave for six months and I'm still famous, hehe.

                   Her name was Melissa.

4:18pm  Sam finally came home. I just packed up and left. I figure I gotta call my mom. I'll tell her, "Sam's got the Windows 98 CD, so if you want me to install that . . ." She said, "I thought the computer didn't work." I said, "No, I just formatted, just like you said you were going to. She was all, "Did you get rid of Windows 2000?" I told her, "Yes, everything is gone." She flipped and told me, "I paid money for that!" I told her, "You had already told me you were going to delete it."

I'm going to go over to Katie and Johnny's. I think Katie had told me to come over on Christmas. Maybe I can score some food over there. I'm hungry.

4:35pm  I'm at the Crossroads Park and Ride. I got here like five minutes ago.

4:40pm  J.D. Cortez hooked me up with a courtesy ride. I appreciate it, brother.

4:56pm  Ahh, it's a pretty shitty Christmas I am having. I am all by myself. Wish I had some friends to hang out with. I'm going to go over to Katie and Johnny's and see if they'll hang out with me.

5:07pm  Kimberly was nice enough to give me a cigarette at the bus stop.

5:49pm  I told that girl at the bus stop all my stories. She interrupted me a lot. I even showed her pictures and the paper with the barn story. I just got off the bus at Babcock North. I'm going to walk to Bob's house and see if anybody is there. If not, I'll just keep walking to Katie and Johnny's. I'll see if they can give me some food. I'm hungry.

6:12pm  I just got to Katie's. This guy about my age answered the door and I asked him if Katie or Johnny was there. Neither of them were. Then Rose, Johnny's senile mother saw me, so I had to book it.

Oil well. Christmas day by myself. I'm used to it.

My mom makes me mad. She had called earlier and asked, "Oh, did you delete the Power Point? I paid money for that."

6:30pm  I walked all the way to the bus stop in Babcock North on Spring Time. Hopefully the last bus hasn't passed already. If it does I got my sleeping bag and can go crash in Bob's backyard. Or, I can walk out to my little platform. I've got three cigarettes there. If they're still there.

I don't have any money, so I hope the driver gives me a courtesy-ride, if he comes.

I just made a prayer to Love. Please Love, help me out.

6:50pm  The 604 pulled up, going the other way. I ran across the street and asked him if there would be one more going back around to Crossroads. He told me yeah, it would be him. I asked him, "Do you think I can score a courtesy ride when you come back around?" He told me, "I can't do it, bro." I tell him, "C'mon sir, it's Christmas." He thought about it for a second and said, "I'll think about it on the way back," and he drove off. He'll give me a ride. I am sure.

7:15pm  Mr. Ramos came back around and he hooked me up with a ride. I appreciate it, brother.

7:52pm  I am back at Crossroads Park and Ride. I noticed the Jack in the Box is open. I'm going to walk up there and ask for spare change for a burger. I'm hungry.

Ugh, I hate begging for money. Screw it, I haven't eaten all day and it's Christmas. The universe provides.

8:07pm  Alva me dio medio de un sandwich y su esposo me dio un dolar. Muchisimas gracias.

Dude, that's so awesome! Two old people came out. They spoke Spanish so I talked to them. The lady gave me half a sandwich and the guy gave me a dollar.

8:10pm  Raul, the cashier is hooking me up with seven cents for my burger. I only had a dollar.

Next day..
